Kelly--No, they didn't tell us. Last Sunday after graduation hubby got a call congratulating him on being a grandpa. This was the first we heard of it. We finally had a talk with Colton a few days later and it is all out in the open now. It really bothered me he kept it a secret, but then find out several people have known for quite a while. Tanya and Kelly know because I called them as soon as hubby got the call. I needed someone to help with the sanity issue!

As for Thunder, it is breaking my heart right now on making decisions. There is a vet here in town that might be able to help me out. Freddie was going to call him and see if he would. If there is a chance it will work, we have time to try it before the baby comes. If not, we will have to deal with it. At his age, is it worth a try? What would you recommend? (he is a pretty lenient doc who will take suggestions)

to both of them! I can't believe she isn't showing enough to have to tell you before that! I was "showing" enough for people to ask when I was 14 weeks.

She looked like she was gaining weight and we had joked about but really were surprised to actually hear it. We are still adjusting to it all! He is due September 26th and they are naming him Traygen Ray.

Holly Molly We have another baby on the way. My birthday is September 24th maybe he will be born on that day. Where did they get the name from? Are they going to call him Ray?

I bet your DH was caught a bit off guard on that phone call.

Michelle hate you are having to decide about Thunder. I had my dog on valium (not Bessy -- Milly my springer spaniel) She was so hyper and had separation anxiety so bad. It worked well for her.


Poor Nat -- who ever said you need to put yourself in lock down was absolutely right.

I will try to remember to ask her that sometime. They should be here soon to bring back my truck and then Des and I are taking a road trip to Rozzie's this afternoon!

Valium (diazepam) is worth a shot, but I would probably try fluoxetine (aka Prozac) first b/c it has less of a sedative effect. It kind of just depends on the dog as to what drug works for them.
