Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

When I don't know what to fix, we usually have buttered spagetti with garlic toast. Quick and easy. When we have chili, I add macaroni the next night for chili mac. Strrrrrrretch that meal! I haven't done any cards yet either...don't feel bad.

Thanks those are both great ideas!! As far as the cards go, thanks for making me feel better

Good Morning Girls!

charmed--I agree with chickenchick, put a few things around the house to look festive without going through all the trouble and pain of getting everything out. I am sure everyone will understand.
And if you were a KU fan, I don't even know what I would say or do!

So, I guess it could be worse!
Let me share my oreo recipe for the holidays with you. Ready...Take a package of Oreos (this year we used the little bite sized ones) and dip them in your melted white vanilla bark. Tada! Done.

chickenchick--It is going to be around 40 here too. Most of our snow is already gone. When we were looking at lights the other night there would be green grass with a big old snowman still standing! We are forecasted to get around an inch tomorrow and the long ranger in some places is saying we may get some on Christmas Eve!

As far as supper, I am a slacker again this week. Last night we had Sonic at 9:30 before we headed home. It was almost 11 before we got home and settled in. Tonight we are helping Tonna refinish the living room floor of the house her Mom & Dad just bought. It is going to be her present to them. They live about 4 hours away (Eldon) and are coming in Christmas Eve so we are going to try to be done this weekend. They will be moving up here in the spring. So, McDonald's will probably be my friend tonight!

The one time I drank Tequila, I handled it pretty well. Sorta. I can't remember if it was a Valentine's Day or Halloween, but it was fairly chilly out. I threw up and passed out, but I don't think I did anything stupid that night.

I don't know why it is a good idea to have those parties upstairs at the Elk's Lodge. It took 3 people to steer me down the stupid things and get me loaded in the car....Ah the memories!

Oh your stair story reminded me of a St Pattys day party way back in my early 20s. This particular party was held in a teeny tiny basement apartment with at least 1000 steps to get up and out of there (really I swear

) Well after consuming what I can only guess was the whole keg of green beer, it took my VERY embarrassed husband (Raymond's dad) and a few others to drag and push me up the stairs! Funny, I remember more about how miserable the next day was instead of all the "fun" I am sure I must have had!!

Hey...are you guys Elks? Also..I drank some tequila I brought home from Mexico once. I couldn't read the label and there was a worm in it. Needless to say I got very drunk, passed out and went to bed. My DH and his friend were sitting in the kitchen when, low and behold, here I come down the hall with nothing on but my DH's leather coat, headed for the bathroom! I, of course, remember none of this (Thank God!) but have heard the story many times when the drunk stories come up! This was over 20 years ago and I still haven't lived it down! No tequila for me....well maybe........

I bought some snowflake Ritz crackers I am going to put peanut butter on and dip in choc. Mmmmmmm There is something about salt and choc. Wonder how Nutella would be on that? Or marshmellow cream?

My SIL is a KU fan....

Hubby has been asked to join, but he decided not to. There is however, an open bar and they celebrate certain occasions. It has been a few years since we have been though.

Hubby turns 40 on New Year's Eve. Been debating on what to do for it.

My Aunt is a KU fan. She lives in Milan and her whole family is like that. Destiny and I ran into her over here at Hy-Vee one day and stood in the parking lot talking to her for quite a while. I called mom immediately afterward and told her to tell Uncle Donald that the next time he brings her in public dressed like that we weren't going to talk to her!

Wow, I am not sure what I did to that last post!

I know what you mean, the next day is kicker and it seems to get worse as I get older!

Boy you aren't kidding!! Hubby and I were just talking about that. The hangovers have gotten bad enough to make us not want to do it any more. On the rare occasion that a glass of wine turns into 4 or 5 I am kicking myself the next day!
