Good Morning Girls!
charmed--I agree with chickenchick, put a few things around the house to look festive without going through all the trouble and pain of getting everything out. I am sure everyone will understand.
And if you were a KU fan, I don't even know what I would say or do!
So, I guess it could be worse!
Let me share my oreo recipe for the holidays with you. Ready...Take a package of Oreos (this year we used the little bite sized ones) and dip them in your melted white vanilla bark. Tada! Done.
chickenchick--It is going to be around 40 here too. Most of our snow is already gone. When we were looking at lights the other night there would be green grass with a big old snowman still standing! We are forecasted to get around an inch tomorrow and the long ranger in some places is saying we may get some on Christmas Eve!
As far as supper, I am a slacker again this week. Last night we had Sonic at 9:30 before we headed home. It was almost 11 before we got home and settled in. Tonight we are helping Tonna refinish the living room floor of the house her Mom & Dad just bought. It is going to be her present to them. They live about 4 hours away (Eldon) and are coming in Christmas Eve so we are going to try to be done this weekend. They will be moving up here in the spring. So, McDonald's will probably be my friend tonight!
The one time I drank Tequila, I handled it pretty well. Sorta. I can't remember if it was a Valentine's Day or Halloween, but it was fairly chilly out. I threw up and passed out, but I don't think I did anything stupid that night.
I don't know why it is a good idea to have those parties upstairs at the Elk's Lodge. It took 3 people to steer me down the stupid things and get me loaded in the car....Ah the memories!
