Well I shoveled out the coop and we think we found the problem. The floor was wet under there. Hubby did some research online and the conclusion he came to was he forgot to put any kind of a moisture barrier in the floor. Did any of you do that? So guess what our spring project will be

I actuallly got 8 a couple days ago and 5 yesterday. I am just thrilled, it is about darn time!!
I think we also need to throw the Saint Bernard in, it may take more than the horse to pull me home!
My purty hair is not in the Christmas pics. They are the ones the kids had taken together Friday. I will try to figure out how to get them on the computer so I can post them.
Our coop is a wooden floor with with 2X4s underneath and we just painted it and haven't had any problems. We use straw as bedding and may occasionally throw in some chips. When we have meaties we definitely use the chips in place of straw.
That they are laying. Mine are still on vacation.
ETA: I guess I made Thunder mad by washing all his blankets last night. He paced when I put them in the wash and proceeded to sleep in the living room last night instead of coming to the bedroom with me. He also wouldn't acknowledge me this morning when I tried to put him out to potty, but jumped right up for Destiny.
