Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

We all like corn dogs, except for Colton. Post the recipe and I will try it sometime when he is not home. He will not eat hot dogs or touch anything that remotely looks like them. When he was really little all he would eat was hot dogs and green beans. One day he decided he didn't like hot dogs anymore and absolutely has not touched them since he was about 3 or 4. He starves on boy scout trips since that is the natural thing to feed them, so if they don't have chili with them, hubby has to go out and get him something else. So, when he is gone, one of our fave dishes is either chili dogs or corn dogs.

Hmmm?! Were you a bad girl? Well then you have joined the right group here! I will be glad to PM you so you don't have to "pretend" to be bad so you get attention from the mods!

Whoa! What did you do to get that privilege? Like chickenchick said, if you just want a PM, let us know and we will send you one!

Here it is. It is from Taste of Home. I cut this recipe in half for us and still had leftovers. I left out the celery and substituted regular onions for the green onions. When Raymond was little he would throw up every time I fed him a hot dog.

I am guessing he may have been allergic to something in certian brands. He loves them now though!

Ingredients
2 cups thinly sliced celery
2 tablespoons butter
1-1/2 cups sliced green onions
1-1/2 pounds hot dogs
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoons rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 packages (8-1/2 ounces each) corn bread/muffin mix
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
Directions
In a skillet, saute celery in butter for 5 minutes. Add onions; saute for 5 minutes. Place in a large bowl; set aside. Cut hot dogs lengthwise into quarters, then cut into thirds. In the same skillet, saute the hot dogs for 5 minutes or until lightly browned; add to vegetables. Set aside 1 cup.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, sage and pepper. Add the remaining hot dog mixture. Stir in corn bread mixes. Add 1-1/2 cups of cheese. Spread into a shallow 3-qt. baking dish. Top with reserved hot dog mixture and remaining cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 12 servings.

I thought of all kinds of wise cracks and sarcasm to say this morning but what's the point. I have kidded Tanya about Donner Party snow but I believe that is just what we got! At least 4 to 5 inches here and the drifts are horrible! I barely made it out of the driveway this morning. I just barreled down and hoped no one was coming up the road! Some places on the farm, I could just burrow me an igloo! Cows are all huddled up beside the barn. Poor cows. Chickens seem to be pretty happy but the eggs they lay in the evening are frozen by the time I get to them in the morning. I am going to put another heat light in their coop and point it towards the laying nests.

Chickenchick...I know you are probably use to these fridged temps but really, this is just tooooo cold!

Michelle.... I will blow up the picture of Des shoveling snow. Need a new dart board back drop! But really...you be careful fooling around out in this! Don't be a hero!

NY!! How the weather up there??

RIR...Oh...Yea..Are they telling you the snow is beautiful??

I wondered when you would come sliding in! None of this is fun at all, I agree! I say instead of visiting NY, we all pack up and sit under the palm trees with rirluvr!

Oh, I got another funny Thunder story to share! Destiny and I were getting ready to go to bed last night (hubby went out at 9 pm to plow and Colton was already in bed). She asked if I wanted the fireplace unplugged and reached down to do it, grrrrrr. She was like "You gotta be kidding me!?" and reached down again. He growled even louder! She finally walked to the other side and reached around to just turn it off while he glared and growled the whole time and then she ran and got in bed before he could get her! And I could do was

Charmed that is the cutest thing!! You would think after living in this my whole life I would be used to it, but anyone who tells you that is full of crap! The human body was not made to function in sub zero temps! Kenny is usually the one whining around about winter, understandable as he IS the one who has to work in it. However there is something different about this winter! I am so SICK of it already!

So if you want to let some of that sarcasm and wisecracks go, you go right ahead and vent on us, because I fell your frustration sweetie, really!!!!

Michelle that dog just cracks me up!
