Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Good morning!

I am glad you had such a nice weekend Michelle. We stayed home most of it too. DH ran to town for a few last minute things he needed for the bathroom. Guess what?? We actually got to use the new shower yesterday

It is so roomy and the shower head is WOW! (No NY it is not a vibrating one

) So now I need to paint the walls and the medicine cabinet I told you about. When it is all done I will post pics. I have been taking a few along the way.

Thank you for all the well wishes for Nathan. He is still in ICU. I got an update first thing this morning. Now that the swelling is going down they think they actually got 90% of the tumor. So that is a plus! They still can't get his meds figured out so his Dad said he is still really out of it and not able to communicate much. Raymond wants to do a Bake Sale for a fund raiser. He was really touched by the fund raisers done for him while he was hurt. His little JR high of 130 students raised $1300 for medical bills for us. They did bake sales, raffles, hat day, all kinds of things. So I told him if he could get it okay ed I would help him organize it and of course bake!

Algo those eggs really are beautiful! Can't wait to see the babies that come out of them.

Bant it was nice to see you!

Jazzy I am so glad Buterscotch is still fighting!

fuzziebutt we will PM you. You don't have to get your self in trouble you know

NY did you get any rest this weekend?

Quiet I hope your weekend settled down and you got some rest too!

I am looking forward to seeing pics of your new bathroom! I was thinking this weekend that we need to get something else going on our renovation. With this cold weather, I haven't had much energy to do anything about it.

Great news on Nathan! I hope he continues to get stronger! The fundraisers sound like a wonderful idea! I love to hear it when kids pull together to help each other. It shows we have raised responsible children who really care!

I woke up yesterday to Colton telling me Luke had emergency surgery Saturday. Apparently his appendix ruptured! I asked how long he had been sick and Colton said since Thursday. I now feel guilty because he was at our house Friday afternoon helping Colton cut wood. I didn't go out to see him like I should have and Hubby says he talked to him and he sat in the truck and told him he had been sick. Hubby had no idea it was that serious and I don't know if I would have either, but I have Mama guilt for at least not going out there and talking to him when he was there. I guess he is doing fine and will be out in a week and back to school in 2 weeks. I am going to text him in a bit and see if there is anything he needs.

The bosses' 94 year old mom is in the hospital too. She has congestive heart failure and needed some fluid removed. She has been in since Wednesday and was supposed to be out Saturday, but one of the doctors decided not to release her. She still lives on her own and he runs himself ragged taking care of her.

We are waiting word on Tonna's sister in law. She finished her treatment and waiting on blood results to see if the treatment was successful. If it is, then there is the wait for a bone marrow transplant. She has been in for a month and hasn't seen her girls since she has been in there. The little one turned 4 the other day. It is very hard on all the family!

Geesh, let's talk about something positive!

I am sorry to hear about Luke I know he is like son to you. Tell him your crazy chicken friend wishes him well! Keep us posted on his recovery.

I can't imagine how hard it is for Tonnas SIL to be missing her kids on top of every thing else happening. I will keep praying for her and her family. Keep us posted on that too.

Today is bill paying day

Our tenants in our Havre house (we also have a rental in Conrad) called friday morning and are moving out. They paid an extra month when they moved in so we won't get a check this month. So................. I am PMSing AND get to figure out how to pay bills with $750 less than usual
barnie.gif
This house has been on the market for sale for over a year

I am just so tired of it all! So not only do we not have the rent but now we will have utilities to pay on it.

Sorry I am done whining now!!

Oops! I was supposed to be positive! Sorry! It was our 4000th post too!

That's okay, we all need to rant!

I am sorry your house isn't selling. The market seems to be down everywhere and no one seems to be wanting to spend money. Keep trying and maybe until then, someone else will come along and rent it out soon. It is hard to pay bills when you find out part of your income is gone.

Hi everyone! I had alot of gabbing to catch up on!

It was a blizzard here when I left to pick DH up from the airport Friday! But got him picked up and went to the boat (casino). I didn't win anything. I sit at the slots and really just play for fun. I know I won't win anything there unless very lucky. DH either shoots craps or plays poker. He hit the crap table and won! Of course with my loss we came up about even. We had a room there and was I glad! We got to the casiso about 9:30 and didn't go up to the room til 4:30 in the morning! We both had a real good time.
His hotel in Wisconsin was haunted!! His TV kept changing channels while he was asleep and also while he was in the shower. Some of the other guys were talking about their phones ringing and no one would be there. They were all talking about it one morning on the bus going to class and the driver (who is also a maintenance man at the hotel) told them it was haunted. Two women had committed suicide on the 3rd floor at different times. Although they don't rent those rooms out anymore, there are weird things that happen on the whole floor. Of course that is where DH and the rest of the class were staying!!! Speaking of spooky...we watched Paranormnal Activity last night. If you haven't seen it...don't bother. It wasn't really scary at all. We didn't think so anyway.

I would comment on all the happenings but so much has happened with you all while I was gone. Just know I have good thoughts going in the right direction!

I am never lucky enough to hit for anything big either, but then again, I don't spend much. I always do slots too, usually the nickel ones, but I would love to sit at a blackjack table one of these days!!

We missed out on all the bad weather (thank goodness). We have some light snow coming down now, but I don't think it is supposed to amount to much.

Freaky on the hotel! Your family sure knows how to attract them, don't they?

I swear I would run out of there crying like a baby if anything like that happened to me! We didn't get too far into Paranormal Activity before we turned it off. We wondered if it would get better, but didn't have the patience to wait it out!

The first 20 minutes is probably about as far as we got. We didn't rent any movies this weekend, but watched a few good ones on Lifetime. That cutting and loading wood Saturday really kicked me in the butt, so we sent Hubby to town for hot wings from KFC and settled for an evening of KU-K State basketball and the Miss America Pageant! Last night we had to juggle the Pro Bowl with the Duggar delivery special and Cake Boss. Oh, and a little of the Grammys.

Well...I was meaning to tell ya...

Yup we have a bunch of haunted spots here in WI. So what did he bring home for ya? Did he get the brats? Or maybe some cheese? I was rootin' for a yacht myself! Did he enjoy the shipyard tours? Too bad he wasnt in Milwaukee, then he could have done brew house tours. GLad he's back safe at any rate--good thing the ghosties didnt get him! Terri O in WI--who has a ghost in her attic!
