Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Chickenchick don't feel bad, I am the same way. Sometimes I have to just shut my mouth or I will really get on my DHs nerves. He is a great man and am glad to be with him but sometimes I worry too much about the bills and could nag alot more than I already do! I guess that is why DH has turned all the bills and most of his money over to me. He knows I will pay the bills first and save the rest.

My eggs have only been set for about 5 hours and I am already getting impatient. I do check the temp. about every hour or so but that is just to make sure it is not spiking since this is the first day. I did pretty good about forgetting about it with the first hatch and am hoping I can be the same with these. I am so glad I got the extra bator now cuz DH got on the phone and started taking orders for baby chicks from his friends. I have one guy that wants 20 and would take more if I had them and his cousin in MO wants all that I can hatch at one time. My bator is not even full now! I put in all I had and still had room for more. Looks like we will be eating eggs from Chinamart for awhile.

Since they are mixed I am only going to charge $1 each.

The babies in the basket pic were hatched in Aug. so they aren't so cute anymore. Some of the lil roos are trying to crow and are just funny looking.

He couldn't trust his first wife with $. She would spend it and tell him the bills were paid. With me he just knows things are taken care of. Sometimes I have to take a deep breath and keep my mouth shut too! I am treated better than I ever have been so I really have nothing to complain about. I am just a worry wart!!

I am so jealous that you have eggs set. I can't wait!! I am really bad about having to "check" on them too. Hubby would find me sitting there staring into the bator!

This is an update on Nathans progress. My heart just breaks for this family. They take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. Thank you for all the prayers, please keep them coming.

Hello, this is Sarah, Nathan's stepmom. Darren asked me to update Nathan's journal as it was an exhausting day for the both of them. Nathan had another MRI today and then had to go into surgery. The doctors had some concerns with the swelling of Nathan's spinal cord and went in to try to fix the problem. They were able to remove some more of the tumor and won't know anymore results of the surgery for a couple of days. This is just a minor set back for Nate the Grate. We know he'll bounce right back and be back in Conrad in no time smiling from ear to ear.

He had his scheduled surgery on friday, this one was not planned. He has not been able to communicate since then.

and recovering from our ice/snow storm. We're ankle deep in mud atm

, but the birdies seem to enjoy it. We let the bunnies in their yard for a bit today too and they loved it

This is part of an email I just recieved from his stepmom. She has decided she is going to Seattle to visit them this weekend. I agree that she should.


What I didn't post last night is that Nathan can't breathe on his own and he can't move from the neck down so the doctors are concerned. Nate doesn't know and Darren wants people to keep their posts upbeat so it doesn't scare him.
I am trying to keep positive and that's what is getting me through this. I know that Nate's in good hands and that he'll be ok.


I know all to well, and I am sure you all do to, how helpless it feels to have a hurt child that you are powerless to heal. I can't decide wether to tell Raymond when he gets home or wait and see how things turn out. Any words of wisdom girls?

Quiet hubby mentioned he may want bunnies sometime down the road.................................

Like FIL had another spinal surgery this past week and I did not tell them..He will be here in 3 months for the summer-hes pretty bad though with alot of back problems and I will tel them if he looks or walks worse. Im sorry I cant be more help on it just wanted to say were al thinking of him and his family as well as how its weighing on your guys:-( we love you and hope all things get so much better soon
