Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Luke is recovering at his Mom's in Chillicothe (about 20 miles away) and having a teacher keep him up on his schoolwork. He should be back by April 1st to school. Colton goes to visit often and takes Luke's little brother Landon with him. Destiny and I had never met Landon before a few weeks ago, but we came home one day and she asked me if that was Luke. I said he was too small to be Luke, but when he grinned, I knew it had to be his brother!! I am happy to say he is just as nice and sweet as Luke is too!

Tonna's sister in law is spending time with her family before she goes back to the hospital tomorrow. I got to talk to her on the phone Saturday when she called in to the auction. She sounded good and I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to say to her and I felt like an idiot having tears run down my face after I got off the phone, but I just told her there are many people praying for her and we are all here for her and the family if they need anything. She invited me to a get together that night, I was tired but that wasn't my real excuse, I just couldn't do it. Is that terrible? I may never get to see her again. And the tears start again....

Okay, I am not going to tell Destiny about Raymond's concert tonight or she will be on her way!! She absolutely loves Theory of a Deadman!! Tell Raymond to take lots of pics and then he may have an "older" girl all over him!!

Don't feel bad, I hadn't heard of them either! My first concert was Alabama at the Missouri State Fair. How is Nathan doing?

Sunny and 48 degrees this morning. Colder than it has been. We have a chance for rain tonight and definitely rain on the weekend. I must admit I am tired of my chicken area being wet. The sun does not hit that part of the property directly so it is still wet the girls find haven on a small area that does get some sun. The dirt is dry there so they can take their dust baths. I am sure the ladies must be tired of always having mud on their feet.

15 minutes?! Sometimes it takes me all morning! I get distracted and have stupid work to get in my way. That's why a lot of times I have several I have to catch up with at one time!! And about that video, I saw the thread, but youtube is blocked on our computers! I would love to see it, especially since I have a duck named Frank too!

No it isn't terrible.

I understand how you feel. It is so hard to know what to say to someone in that situation. I am sure she knows you care. Besides, things still have time to turn around for her

I think it is so cool that Colton visits Luke so often AND he takes the little brother?! What a guy! I love the name Landon! I worked with a young kid named that a couple of years ago. I have a cousin named Lynden, I always liked that one too.

Thanks for asking about Nathan. Raymond just pulled a handful of Raffle Tickets from his pocket this morning! Mom this for Nate, can we buy some?

Of course I did! They are raffling off a Pellet Grill, not sure what that is, but pretty sure I don't need one! He is able to shrug is right shoulder sometimes. Once in a while his fingers will work. His Dad says he is practising by using the TV remote! Hey whatever works! He has started Physical therapy. He hasn't passed his swallow test so he is on a very limited diet. He is breathing on his own though. The main concern right now is that is bowels are not working correctly. He is in good spirits , but his Dad hasn't told him he is not going home near as soon as he thought he would.

Kenny tells Raymond that older girls are the way to go anyway!

I am sure he would be thrilled to have a date! I feel so old when I hear is music coming from his room. I think what in the world is that crap! Then I remember my Dad coming to my room and saying the same thing about John Cougar-Mellencamp (when he still was

) and Bruce Springsteen! Its true, I have turned into my parents!

Oh and I love Alabama!

That is great that Nathan is making progress. Baby steps if that is what it takes. I still think about him and pray for him often!

I love the name Landon too. We have someone on our family tree by that name (I would have to stop and count how many greats would be before grandpa) and Destiny has always said IF she has children, she would like to use it. I don't hear that name very often either. Landon is a freshman this year and has decided to play football this fall, so we are looking forward to having someone else to cheer on!

Destiny is very diverse in her music, she is open to anything although she generally prefers country. Colton is pretty much a country boy at heart, but he will jam to a little AC/DC and other 80's "harder rock". I did tell Destiny about the concert and she is officially mad at all of us that she is missing out! Most of the concerts I have been to are 80s bands with the exception of Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean. I just don't get out often and no one comes anywhere near our sleepy town!
