Thats the problem, he looks at me with those big brown eyes and says "I just don't know how it happened." He is really hard to stay mad at. Which explains why he is grounded and at a concert

Do you have this problem ever? Or is it just me thats a big pushover? My FIL thinks we are to soft.

Guilty as charged! I have to be really, really, really mad to actually do something and when hubby gets onto one of them, I am usually the one to jump up and defend them. They really are spoiled rotten brats, but have turned into really good kids. How bad are the grades? And will they improve with the new medication and attention he will get at school? I hate to keep throwing in the medical factor as an excuse, but it may be truly valid.

On a very random note, it was -6 this morning and now currently sitting at around -1. You know you have had way too much cold weather when Destiny steps outside this morning and says "it really doesn't feel that cold this morning!" I left my coat at work and was grumbling about it on the way to the van when she realized hers was still in the house! I think we are almost conditioned to be eskimos!!

Michelle I know what you mean about being conditioned. The sun was shining so I let the chickens out in my nightie and flip flops! Who needs a coat, boots and PANTS?! Its a heat wave

He stayed in town with that friend last night so I didn't have to go out past my bedtime and pick him up! So he doesn't know his midterm report is here yet. You still have time to warn him

Like Michelle said though it is very likely that this is more medical than anything else. After the meeting on Monday the SE teacher has changed directions a little bit and a few other areas are being addressed. It will just take some time to notice the changes, hoping they make a difference

Also after this next 24 hour EEG in March maybe the DR can change the medication to one that will make things clearer too.

Michelle I am glad I am not the only softie here! I grew up very sheltered and when it was time to go out on my own I was scared to death. I remember staying at a friends house when I was 14. We went to Taco Johns, alone

I had never been anywhere like that alone. Then when it came time to order I was terrified, I didn't know how! Sounds silly but I swore I would make sure my children wouldn't feel that panic I did. So I tend to let him do things I would have never been allowed to do and I think the thought of almost losing him a few years ago makes me soft too

If I get really mad and start taking things away, like his next birthday, the right to breathe you know, REALLY mad! Hubby steps in and defends him!

I have to go to town today. I need milk and a hair cut

So I better get to the Wii and ready to go. Appointments at 10:30.

Good morning everyone......After a long 2 week battle...Harry died this morning.

I didn't see it coming, he was starting to eat alittle and was plugging right along. It looked like he even ate some corn while I was gone yesterday. He seemed fine last night when I tended to him. But when I went to check on him this morning, he was gone. I'm sad girls....but doing ok so don't worry 'bout little ole me.

On a higher note...DD is doing much better and doesn't have a fever anymore. The meds she got yesterday seen to be doing the trick! Hope everyone's having a good morning!

Where is everyone today?? I've got a question for you.....My DH has Sprint/Nextel and is due for a new phone upgrade. Anyone have any favs or ones to stay away from? He mainly used it for phone calls and direct connect. No texting or web browsing. I didn't even know he had web browsing in his plan! I am going to check it out tonight.

We have AT&T and have generally been happy with it. It would all depend on what kind of coverage you would get in your area, where towers are located. Like for example, Galt has no signal for AT&T, but Alltel comes in great and vice versa for other small towns around here. We had Alltel to begin with and our signal was horrible because of tower position. Those are about the only two choices we have here.

Good afternoon everyone. I just got back from town. My hairdresser is the wife of one of Kens co-workers. She is a sweet person but boy she can talk 100 miles an hour. As you all know I don't see many people and enjoy my peace and quiet, so when I come home from her shop I have tons of new info and my ears are ringing

. He needs a new phone. That's what I was wondering about. There are so many new phones out there I was just wondering if someone had one they loved or one that they really hated. My phone itself is a dinosaur. No pictures. Do they even make phones anymore that Don't take pics?
