This is Colton after the game. We went with the FFA and he and his friends each had a letter on their chest. It was VERY cold that day too!

OMG Michelle..I glanced at that photo and thought that was a sunburn! Thank God it isn't! I had season tics to the chiefs back when we had Marcus Allen and Joe Montana and Derrick Thomas. Those were fun times! I had a big passanger van and hauled a bunch of us to the game. We'd tailgate and have a ball. My BIL has the tics now and I am glad. Don't have the time now that I did then. How fun for your family! This is exactly why you don't have to worry about your son growing up. You do things as a family and have a strong family unit. The rest will follow. Hope this weather holds out til tomorrow nite. Isn't this wonderful!!

I loved the Chiefs back in that era! Before we took everything down to remodel the bedroom, I had the Rush Hour poster hanging on my wall with Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith! I absolutely LOVED Neil Smith and that is why I am no longer a Chief's fan. It seems like if they ever get anyone good on the team, they get rid of them. I got tired of it. Forgive me for this, but I am now an Oakland Raider fan. I love, love, love bad boy Sebastian Janokowski!

I am so glad that you enjoy the games as a family! Even though DS is the manager we plan on supporting the team and participating all that we can. We know most of these kids, some of whom have stayed at our house a time or two! I am looking forward to cheering them on. It also gives you a sense of community. We have a wonderful giving community. We are only about 2500 people but they have 1 big heart.

I hope everyone's Saturday is going well. DS is sleeping and DH had to work. Me?

Thats it, at least for another 20 minutes or so!!

Right now he has our daughters out at hunting camp for the night --wooo-hooo. so guess what I did today and last night? 11 loads of laundry-all chicks went out with the big chicks in pens-cleaned all my pens...now my house is quiet and empty and no one is home-I am relaxing and catching up on this thread sucking down???? yup..you guessed it a Yuengling!!! Im taking my mom out to dinner for her Bday and my bro-SIL-and Sis are joining me... wait can you hear that??? no??? oh thats right IM ALONE!!!!!! lol..... 1 day alone is needed and I love it! but..I love it when everyone comes home too I dont know about you guys but Im chickened out! I have 1 2 week old chick I just took out of the house and put all chick supplies away in garage including bator!~ Im glad the chicken season is over and I now have time to watch all my babies grow up! Im going to have so much fun this winter trying to figure out who's who and what to breed to eachother! can't wait!!!

Good Monday Morning!! I started my day off by spilling my mountain dew all over myself, but it will get better!

I had a busy weekend working on my bedroom. Over half of the walls & ceiling are painted!

But not sure if I like it. The ceiling color seems a bit dark and blends in with the walls too much, depending on the light, which drives me crazy!! I also get the doors and hallway trim finally all done so I can call that project officially finished. I also got more put away in my closet, but have decided to wash and go back through my clothes before I put them up.

Saturday was football jamboree! It is where they scrimmage against other teams, not really a game. We started out looking really good, but didn't hold out. But the other schools are bigger and gave us a run for the money. I think we are going to look pretty good this year if we can keep the injuries at bay. Destiny and I found some cool gold nail polish and some black at Wal-Mart, so we are pretty excited to do our nails on Thursday evening!

Destiny takes classes at our junior college here in town and works at the station with me only she does the on air stuff, production and things like that. She has always wanted to own and operate a radio station and she is a fast learner on about anything around here, she has been here about 3 years and is the only female voice on the air. It still freaks her out that people recognize her voice in public!

Hubby took Colton and 2 of his friends to the state fair yesterday. They wanted to go to the demo derby and I told hubby it was his turn to bond. If hubby had his way, he would never go anywhere. They had a really good time and Destiny and I got quite a bit done around the house.

NY..I love my alone time. Everyone needs that and I take full advantage when it happens. Yuengling, yuengling, Yuengling...Na Na Na...I'm jealous!

How fun is that! Glad to here your renovations are almost over. It will be nice and cozy when the snow starts to fall.

Good Morning chickenchick! I use to have to share my comp with my DD. She couldn't understand what I needed to look at that was as important as her stuff!! HA!

I mowed and weedeated all weekend. Got the yard looking good finally. With my back being out for so long, everything was getting shabby! I can report no coons for awhile. The neighbor up the road has ripe cantelope and a coon problem. I guess they needed alittle fruit with their chicken!! Still have 1 hen that wants to roost on the porch. My sis has named her Helen. I now have a chicken named Helen. You gotta understand.. I love my chickens but have never named them..Nor can I tell them apart for that matter. Helen, I know only when she comes on the back porch!

I should have internet at home now after tomorrow. I am going to get a card from my wireless company. I hope it works out in the boonies! We'll see!
