I bet Dad loves that ceiling fan, especially with the weather you get. It is nice and warm today but is going to cool down.

Michelle....How was target practice? Did you shoot anyone.......uh....I mean anything? Lol! Do you lock the little kittys up at night?

Chickenchick....hows your garden doing? I have to replant my carrots. They didn't come up. I also had to shoo 2 deer out of the garden Fri nite. Got up for a drink and looked out the window and there they were. Watched them for a minute of two till it looked like they were going after my blackberry bush. Out I ran, in my best Porkey Pig fashion! I don't know what scared them more. Me yelling and waving my arms or the moonlight glinting off my derriere! Lol!

Glad we don't have any close neighbors! I've been watching for them to come back but I think I may have tramatized them cause they haven't returned. Country living............how can a person live any other way and really live! Lol!

Your deer story reminds me of my fox saga the other night. I watched it with the cats, goats, and then it headed to the guineas...That is when I became a mad woman running out the door in less than an appropriate amount of clothing to chase it off! Of course, now that we have the gun, we haven't seen it again.

Our weekend was pretty quiet. Hubby put me up a new clothes line, so I took advantage of a cooler windy day yesterday to get the laundry done. I also cooked wonderful meals, complete with desserts and accomplished quite a bit around the house. I even bowled my best 2 games during bowling league last night. This weather is what I am talking about, I can live with these temps!

I know what you mean about the weather! And no rain in sight! I am going to mow tonight and work in the garden tomorrow night. It's suppose to be in the 60 at night. Might be able to turn off the air and open up the windows! I love the fresh air as long as it's cool enough to sleep!!

Colton and Colten made their first trip to the fireworks stand last night. They were in the bottoms a couple miles away and we could hear the "boom" of their sparkler bombs from our yard.

That is one thing you can count on this time of year. And while we are on the subject, we get a 3 day weekend for the 4th! I am surprised the boss decided this, but I sure am happy about it. Now, I need to get busy and plan the weekend!!
