Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Colton and Colten made their first trip to the fireworks stand last night. They were in the bottoms a couple miles away and we could hear the "boom" of their sparkler bombs from our yard.

That is one thing you can count on this time of year. And while we are on the subject, we get a 3 day weekend for the 4th! I am surprised the boss decided this, but I sure am happy about it. Now, I need to get busy and plan the weekend!!

You are still invited to Rick's cousins in St Joe for the 4th if you want to come. There's always a slew of people there and they are not scary! Just a bunch of Italians! Lol! We BBQ alittle and everyone brings a side dish. She lives out of town so there are lots of fireworks after dark.

We may actually consider that. We thought we were going to Tonna's, but she doesn't know what she wants and with it being a week before the wedding, she is a mess the way it is. I will keep you guys in mind when we discuss it in a few days. I am always up to finding a good new fireworks display (and of course, the food). My fave fireworks are the saturn missiles. It drives the boys crazy, but they make sure they get me a good supply of them! It will actually be on Sunday night? I know some people will be celebrating on Saturday.

I am almost giddy thinking of a 3 day weekend with nothing actually planned yet! Destiny and I almost decided Friday evening while target practicing, about taking off for Nebraska that night. We didn't, but I sorta wish we would have. There are so many things we want to do this summer and if we don't get busy, before we know it, it will be over too quickly.

I know what you mean. I am the same way. I hate always having something planned all the time. I like to get up in the morning and let the day play out. What's in Nebraska?

We have some friends from here that moved a few years ago and we try to visit them every so often. We always have a good time when we go, but it is taking the time to just go. I am more like you, I like to just get up and see how the day goes. Spontaneous. But usually by the time I get up and around the day is half gone! Right now I am getting back in the routine of having Colton back home and getting him settled back in. He is working on getting all his Boy Scout stuff around this week and will spend Thurs and Fridays at camp for the next few weeks to work on his advancement. He also has to finish paperwork on Eagle Scout and make the rest of his costume. (thank goodness for grandma!). He wants to make new leather leggings, a different breech cloth and a pouch. I am just not that crafty. I made his first breech cloth, but he is getting fancier as he gets older! Also thank goodness he can do all his bead work on his own!

Havent had time for much-Yesterday was youngest DD's graduation..all went well and SOOOOOO glad it is all over-public school for her next year

this ought to be exciting...haha Hope everyone is having a phenominal day!
