My hubby never was in Scouts, but Tonna's hubby and son come from a long line of Scouts and started with Colton at a young age. Hubby also became a leader, went to camp every year (except this one) and is an honorary Warrior in the tribe. He has had a lot of support. Not only is it good for job applications, as an Eagle, you enter military one rank higher automatically. I will tell Colton you are proud of him, I really am too. He has put a lot of hard work and hours in over the years!
I was in Girl Scouts when I was younger also, but didn't take it far. Destiny was also, but it doesn't seem like the girls have near as good as program as the boys. Now, girls want to be in with the boys and even some Moms have been tapped into the tribe and I just don't think that is right. We mommies have our place in Boy Scouts, but we also need to know where our boundaries are. There are members of the tribe that wear a single white tear with their paint to signify the day they allowed women into the tribe. Colton is considering wearing one also since he is old enough to now.
