Good Morning to you all as well!
My weekend plans are still up in the air as of now. We had been planning for months (we go every year) to go to Tonna's, but she decided at the last minute to go to her brother's to celebrate instead. We then decided we were going to have a celebration at home Saturday night and just go somewhere to watch them on Sunday. Tonna then decided she wanted everyone to come up Saturday evening instead. I told her I had plans to stay home, so I probably wouldn't be there. I was aggravated she couldn't make up her mind and I had already liked the idea of staying home. Problem is, the goats are scared to death of fireworks, so I am thinking shooting any off that close to them is not a good idea at all. In fact, they were so terrified the night the neighbor did shoot them off, that I am thinking that I may need to stay home to keep them calm on Sunday!
I thought people were absolutely nuts on here to have a house duck, but I tell you what, Walter is so much fun! A lot of work, but so enjoyable. He absolutely loves his swims in the tub and has developed a close bond to Thunder. He tries to "bark" with him and when Thunder is out, he listens for him and seems to "talk" to him when he walks by the cage. It is the cutest thing! Now, I am not sure Thunder feels the same way, but when Walter was taking his bath last night, he waited outside the door for him and went in and checked on him every time I did. We hadn't noticed it so much until the past week or so. We still have problems with Walter peeping at us after the lights are out, but he is settling down quicker than he used to.
