Wow....My computor was messing up while I was trying to post....duh....ya think!

I just totally went into BYC withdrawl and bothered everyone over on the Sufficientself site. And I thought quitting smoking was bad.

No eggs yesterday .. I guess they are getting used to their routine.

Feeling a little like my babies have grown up .. they aren't little chicks anymore ..

what is the cure?????

I ordered more chicks! hehe .. never ordered live chicks .. have hatched all that I have. So I should be a mommy again .. next week.

Hey Texasgal, you want a real nice - seriously nice from hoppy - blue laced red wyandotte cockeral? About 4 months old. Splash with a great brick red color. I also have a very nice black orp cockeral from Imogene that is about 5 weeks old. These are really nice birds. One or both - to you - for free. Mmmmm... also a bantam barred frizzled cochin pullet POL and some other standard chicks. if you are interested. OH! And a nice barred bearded Olive Egger pullet from onthespot. For free if you want them!

DD13 just called me ..

"At 930 this morning .. there was a blue egg"
"At 1121 (is that sarcasm??) .. there was a green egg"
"I'm out here now .. there are no eggs"

She's a good little egg gatherer ..

Our goal today was to determine laying time .. so now we know .. mid to late morning..

I'll drive 85% of the time. DH doesn't do well driving - he gets very cranky.
