Tiffany,

It will work out! I can really say "Been there, done that!" with the hot water heater thing.

The first place that we owned when we were young (bought at 19) was a VERY old mobile home. Truly old. We paid something like $1000 for it and had lot rent of $65 a month. This was obviously not recently.

However, as you can imagine, a mobile home that only cost $1000 had problems...like a water leak that required crawling under the mobile home to turn the water OFF in between uses. So, that meant: draw up water for the day in jugs and take showers while it was on, carefully crawl underneath and turn the water OFF when done showering (without getting dirty!) then go to work or whatever. Yeah, that worked really well. Thankfully, that water leak was only a problem for the last few months we were there. I look back now at what we did in horror, because there was wiring not far from that leak.

Then, the next place was a house that we bought when our son was on the way. In the early years, funds were far too tight to replace little measly things like water heaters. So, when the water heater died we went without hot water. I think we were without for 9 months before my grandfather visited. He put in a new one (and the needed plumbing for it).

Right now, I'm annoyed that my hot water recirculator isn't plugged in. One of these days I'll fix the basement light so I can turn that circuit breaker back on. It's more of a matter of TIME and HELP (can't do it alone) than it is funds. I refuse to pay someone to do it, though, since I know we can figure that task out.

Wow, that had to be tough. Finances is one of the reasons that we are staying where we are. We can not afford rent on one place while saving the 5 grand for the house. I have only a grand saved so far as it seems something always comes up, broken care, kids need a dr, etc.. I get above a grand and boom something happens and whiddles it back down to a grand. Ill get there though I hope. I use the coffee maker to make the hot water, it makes it so hot that I can get 2 gallons of comfortable warm water when adding cold water to the hot, from one kettle of water. Does that make sense?
We are in a camper, not a trailer a camper, that says it sleeps 6 but I do not see it. 5 at the most I would say. I cook in the nurker (which I hate) and on the electric grittle. Lots of chicken and pork chops.. Hardly any flavor, bbq sause always. I can not wait to have a kitchen and beable to make my breads from scratch and bake until my heart is content!!!

Sooooooo Destiny, I hear you have a new office "buddy"
