Good Morning ...

Rough evening.

DH is out of town so, of course, I was off to bring home more animals ..hehe. I scored 4 sets of rabbit cages ..

.. two Harlequin rabbits

and somehow 2 black silkie hens ended up in my truck.. I swore I'd never have a silkie ..

They are ridiculous .. oh well. I guess they can live in my banty pen with my Blue Mille Fleur rooster ..

again.

So we're rushin' around trying to find places for all the cages and animals so that things look "normal" when DH gets home Saturday morning ..

My Ex calls .....................

His brother - my girls' favorite uncle - had open heart surgery yesterday ... and died.

I had to tell the girls .. they were devastated .. wanted to be with their dad, but didn't want to drive. Soooooooo, I drove them to their dad's (about 20 miles) and then went to Wal-mart and then I went and had a glass of wine and watched part of the Texans game until they called me and were ready for me to pick them up .. They both have school today and their dad was leaving first thing this morning to head to Iowa ..

Anyway .. it was a sad evening .. EP had diabetes .. didn't take care of himself .. had already lost a leg and was on dialysis .. he was 58 or 59 ...

Ugh!

So I just came home last nite and went to bed .. no playing on the internet ..

But it's good to be here this morning!

Home opener and I am so excited!! We have tailgating in the park before every home game. Different organizations take turns having an eat what you want pay what you want supper. I have missed those!!

It is freezing here this morning. Yesterday I was sweating to death and now today I had to whip out the sweatshirt..
