Not a dumb question! This something my Mom used to make. She never wrote it down so I had to guess! They turned out just like hers. Its an old German recipe she learned from her MIL.
Runza Recipe
4 cups fine cut cabbage
1 medium onion chopped
1 lb burger
salt and pepper to taste
Bread dough, homemade or thawed frozen dough.
Saute burger and onion. Add cabbage, cover let steam slightly but not mushy. Pour off any excess liquid. Salt and pepper to taste. Roll out bread, cut in to squares. Spoon on filling. Fold corner to corner. Place seam side down and brush with egg. Bake @ 375 for 30 minutes. Great with ketchup I freeze any left overs. They are a great quick meal, just pop them in the microwave for a fast snack or lunch.
