It was SO hard!! I baked Chewy Brownies, Peanut butter Cookies and Light and Fluffy Rolls. He loves my caramel corn but I didn't have time and I wanted to get this to him asap. So that will be in the next box, also probably some Apple bread, he really likes that. He said college food sucks!! I didn't have the heart to tell him I was a cook in a college kitchen for 16 years.

It would be kinda fun to see his reaction! But no matter how good of a cook someone is, it has to be hard to cook in bulk like that and make it really good. I am sure he would just wish you were cooking for his college now!

I am getting ready to head out. I need to do animal chores before I get ready for my big night! I will be in touch and tell you how it is going!

I did watch Colton do some more while getting ready to bring the wood stove in the garage for maintenance. Jasper just sounds like such a sweetheart

He is so spoiled! After being gone Saturday (Colton took care of him) and being busy or sleeping most of Sunday I was out in the garage Sunday night cleaning the company van and finally just sat down for a while to rest. He headbutted me a few times then he climbed up on my lap and fell asleep in my arms! He wants to be a big boy so bad but he also wants his mommy and daddy too. Reminds you of children doesn't it? I still have him on the bottle although he eats fine on his own and he still stays in the house while we are gone and sleeps right by our bed. I am perfectly fine with that!

Still plenty of yard work to go here, Michelle. The pool needs to be drained & scrubbed before it gets cold & there is some tall grass around the fences inside the back yard that needs to be whacked down. When we moved here there were a bunch of bricks and broken bricks behind our shed. We've gotten a lot of those up, but there are still more. I'd like those up before winter. I also want to scrub the cement on the patio really well before it is too cold. There are some stains I'd like to see gone. Not sure I'll get to that. Then, the outdoor closet needs cleaned & the pool storage bins need emptied & stuff disposed of or organized. Plenty to do out there.

This my attempt at being crafty. I bought the straw wreath at the thrift shop with a bunch of gorss dirty ribbnons and flowers on it. Well I tried to buy it, she said it had been there so long I could have it!! Bonus! So I stripped it and used a bunch of tackle I found Kenny had discarded from his tackle box. When he saw it he said "Do you know you used $60 worth of tackle to make that?" Well I said, the wreath was free!! Besides, its just hot glued on!!

This was already the garbage can so I just embellished it a little!!
