Oh, and Penguin had quite the escapade after that photo. Flash startled him & he squirmed right on out of my hand. I was able to send him back to his little home but it took fifteen minutes to coax & trick him into letting me catch him. Didn't want to risk a boink injury with Penguin by moving too fast. He was more than happy to go back in with Itsy Bitsy. Speaking of which, I'm on the prowl for yet another cat/dog carrier. OK, so I could use a half dozen more of them. The medium ones are working well for cages for pairs. I'm still watching for more at yard sales and thrift shops. Not having much luck right now, though.
(Doors to outside are ALWAYS closed when I'm working with these birds. penguin & Itsy Bitsy moved to the Bird Room the other day. So, he couldn't go far. Looks like Penguin is a boy and Itsy bitsy is probably a girl. The two that are a couple days older are BOTH boys. The three that are younger -- too soon to tell.)
