I just couldn't get into this weekend.. spent most of my time with the chickens.. which I don't get to do alot ..

I love them .. lol

That game was one of the best games I have ever watched! We didn't get home until 4 am.

Colton was in a car wreck yesterday afternoon so I finished off my weekend in a hospital. Still here waiting for doc...

Oh my goodness! Still waiting for a doctor? Since you are at the hospital, he's obviously injured. I am crossing my fingers and hoping the injuries are minor in the scheme of life!

Yowzers! And here after reading your earlier post I was hoping it was just a slow ER - but then you say you are hoping to come home in a day or two. That sounds worse. Poor kid (urgh, I know they don't like being called that). Hoping for the best!

Ugh ladies. Just got the news an hour ago -- one of my grandfathers (not the one that comes and spends a lot of time with me but the one I have spent less time with over the years) has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. It's not looking good. WHY did someone send me that in an email, to an account I never use? I checked it on a fluke because I'd paid for something on paypal and that's the email those receipts go to. WHY DID someone not phone me? The email was sent two days ago.

Feeling an array of mixed emotions over here. I wasn't close to them but it wasn't really fully their choice when I was growing up -- or mine. It was a complication of strange child custody arrangements and the mixed up mess that goes along with such things.

Time to get ready for work, I guess.

How about just hooking her up to a Mountian Dew IV?! I hope the cute young nurse will help lift his spirits

He can't move his left shoulder without terrible pain. He is moving his left leg better than last night. His chest hurts. He has an air pocket between his lung and chest cavity that is causing pressure that they are also monitoring. Lindsey has major facial injuries, jaw wired shut, in ICU sedated. The driver, Stephanie was taken to KU with broken back and shoulder, collapsed lung and tear on her liver.
