um helllo ladies. I believe I said PM me your addy's???? we need to do a toast! I have 2 babies and that's it! I cracked the other 2 open and they were dead:-( fully formed, fully absorbed yolks and all-just dead. so sad...Im just so thankful I got 2 out of that batch-I have 5 sizzle and 5 wheatan copper marans in now on day 2!! I hope this is my last hatch for the season-but then again Ive been saying that 4 hatched ago. Sometimes I think when its a small batch it doesn't really count-but it is really hard to have 6 different dates of chicks trying to get along-Luckily when all is dwindled down by late fall Ill have what I want to breed for winter-Lavender silkie males-mated to my black silkie bearded pullets-black frzzles-black polish with white heads ( do have an all black pullet) and black cochins-I cant wait-Im going to collect a big batch of all those eggs and hatch them for myself-then backcross them to the parents to get 100% lav offspring! woo-hoo... Yup, Im a freak and looove it. How is your weeks going? do you guys incubate? PM the addy's ladies!!!

Congrats on your 2 babies! I have incubated some, but trying to resist the urge for a while. I don't think hubby is too keen on building yet another coop while the bedroom is tore up and I am not quite sure where another one would go, but I am sure I can find space if need be. We don't actually live on a farm, it just looks like it!

I am glad to hear you are a little slower today. Boss is still gone, so I haven't done near as much as I should this morning. Just catching up on e-mails and all the rest of my morning routine. Going to go look at paint samples again tonight and try to change my mind about bedroom color again! Geesh, I wish I could just pick something we both like and stick with it!

Well, good morning you two. I was busy sending a message to Good Morning America. Did you guys see it this AM? It was horrible. Diane Sawyer was interviewing a poor man who's dog had taken his newborn out of it's crib and taken him outside. The baby was found and is ok in the hospital. It was clear the dog only thought the baby was a toy and did not take him for any other reason. Diane then asked the poor father, who was already beating himself up about it, How can you ever forgive yourself? I was sooooo mad at her
