Im sorry I slacked this weekend posting! Im so sick of this hectic garbage So cannot wait till things calm down--I hope you ladies had a superfantabulous weekend? The freezing corn sounded yummy!

Michelle, hows the rest of the room going? I cant wait to see pictures! I have taken some phtos this past week to post for all of us to get faces behind the names-all though Im my avatar!

So, tonight is our big Colgate Country Showdown state final and it is raining! It is supposed to stop, but if it doesn't, we sure have a lot of moving to do! The lady from Nashville who is supposed to produce it told me she would be here yesterday morning and I haven't heard anything from her yet! She was supposed to fly into KC and drive up, so if I don't hear from her this morning, I guess the panic should start setting in! The van is about ready for the parade. Hubby put the big banners on plywood and 2x4s on top of the van and we have lots of balloons to blow up this afternoon.

My son has been driving everywhere and has really done a great job! It is going to help out a lot with this busy week. Just got back from the fairgrounds/grandstand. It is a muddy mess!! We now have to figure out how to make it work without moving it! Gotta go back in a bit to supervise moving the stages. This is going to be a long, long day!

I haven't heard from Charmed One, she must be wrapped up in something also!

Good Morning everyone! I put my back out Sunday and was flat on my back all day yesterday!

It was the worst it's ever been. Spasms after spasms. I couldn't do anything!

My DH was going to take me to the emergency room last night. I tried to stand up to see if I could get some clothes on and my back popped back in! Haleighluya! It's really really sore today but it's nothing like it was yesterday. I've also been taking alot of Advil which seems to help. I sure missed all of you!

PS..It's so sweet of you all to worry about me!

Oh yeah, last year we used straw, gravel everything we could to get the carnival in. We even had to pull some of the rides in with heavy equipment. I just got back and they are going to haul in gravel and we will go from there. We had quite the storm last night with almost an inch of rain. Porti-potties are blown over out there and there are limbs down all over town. The hardware store right up the street from us lost their roof and part of it took out a parked car! It is fair week. We either get way too much rain or it is hotter than heck. I should be used to it. Deep breaths.
