hey woman..sorry..Im up now..The only reason I can sleep is Lunesta is my BFF at night. otherwise Id be toast! I was busy and my neck is paying the price the aleeve isnt touching the pulled muscle? ache Im feeling!...

morning,,,morning,,,ladies!!!! Long weekend! Took the kids school shopping yesterday-finally got her a call phone-she;s going into 9th this year and since we are all so busy its the only good way to keep communication...both her and her bst friend got them yesterday-texting like mad...but,,,since we live in the boonies-the phone doesnt work until we reach town that will keep that bill down..hahaha...the rest of the time was spent buying clothes groceries..etc...8 hrs of it...bleah but done..hope you gals a fun dry weekend too???

Seriously though, thank goodness the fair is over! Son raced his ATV Friday night and could have had 3rd, but got greedy, wrecked, luckily all he broke was the chest protector.

Saturday night he got to ride in a demo car and was pretty sore by the time he climbed out. We had to work the pit gate, checking drivers in, signing the pit people in. It was kinda fun, I had to kick some people out. It felt so powerful!! lol

I only have one kitten that survived. We can only hope for the best for the little guy!

Cell phones are almost a must for young kids anymore. I just immediately made sure my kids knew that it was number one for communication between me and them and secondly, they can use it for their friends.

It has taken me all morning to write this out, so I will stop for now.

Good Morning! Glad to see you all survived the weekend! Didn't catch any coons this weekend but had owl trouble. Our peacock is the only one vunerable. The neighbor gave me some big bottle rockets to shoot to scare them off. I haven't used them yet. I heard one in the tree by the barn last night so I went trotting out there in my pj's and slippers. Grabbed a handful of rocks from the driveway but he flew off before I got close enough. Good thing I son't live in town. I'm out in my pj's more that not! I wouldn't want to tramatize the natives!!

I just did the coolest thing! I just talked to my DD by video phone on the computor! It was soooo neat! I had the webcam and microphone on the computor already. My DD went to walmart and bought the hookup for hers for 18dollars! How fun is that!!!

Well, please excuse if this is a little off the subject......but...speaking about being lonely.......I ind it really difficult to find single gentlemen who appreciate chickens an the country life........if you know of any single loney chicken men let me know LOL

Oh my gosh guys! My friend across the street called this morning and said she saw a dog jump out of a truck at the bank next to us and it was running loose and afraid it would get hit. Carol and I go out and bring him in. He is a beagle/terrier cross older dog. Very friendly, knows how to sit, beg, roll over, shake, the whole nine yards. We tried to find the owner. He finally called the animal shelter and said if anyone turned the dog in, he didn't want it anymore. He (the man) is in poor health and can no longer take care of him. So...we are taking Thunder home on a trial basis to see how he does with our other pets. He is 8 years old, and so far so good at work, but I can't have him if he chases cats, chickens, goats or anything else living at our house. The vet's office is to call me back this afternoon with some more background info on him after they get back in contact with the owner.
Again, oh why do I always get in these situations??

He is a very sweet dog, I just hope he gets along with all the other animals. He is very well trained and responds well. Destiny is just having a ball with him. I think he will make a very nice pet for someone if he doesn't work out with us. Wish me luck!

Btw, my little kitty is curled up with my big stuffed panda in his box sleeping soundly. It has really eaten well today and been active!
