I feel at "home" here too! I do post on other threads once in a while but this is where I always post. If I am on, I will stop here first. That way if I run out of time I got the most important thing done first. It is nice to have friends that notice when you are gone.

There is one other thread that I like and check quite often. If you like to cook, check out the Grandpa whats for supper thread. There are some great people there along with some great recipe and menu ideas. Tell them thechickenchick sent you!!

The city? That sounds awesome.. We did a litlte school shopping a week ago and got the girls all the clothes they could need fr 2 weeks wo doing laundry! Next is the sneakers--my freshmen gets 2-3 pair of shoes my little one goes to Catholic School so she gets 1 pair of black mary janes ad 1 pair of sneakers-I love watching them in their new clothes on their first days of school. I didnt have much when I was growing up-I got 1 new outfit and a pair of shoes and all my sisters hand me downs. We made do...Now, I try so hard to give up buying anything for me to give more than what I had to the girls...I love it..

Good Morning! No rain so far today, but heavy stuff is coming again tonight! Also, today is the first day of school! Colton is a junior this year.

He only has 3 hours today because he doesn't start vo-tech until tomorrow.

I got my paint and other things last night when we went shopping, so hoping to make more progress on the room!

I do post frequently to the new members welcoming them. I will try to expand a bit more than that. I am just afraid I will give someone the wrong advice or I am too late and someone has already said what I want to say, so I just leave them alone. I will do my best to start jumping in!
