That sounds like a much more safer, enjoyable time!

I will bring the country and 80s cds for us to listen to, we will have NY ship us some brew (gonna need a bunch!) and away we go! Thechickenchick can do the cooking for us! Or, since we are centrally located, they could both come here. We will meet for a weekend at Lake of the Ozarks and do some go-cart riding!

Oh, and I wonder if they still have the 10 cent skee ball?

While on mapquest, (my bestest friend) I noticed you are much closer to Butler than I am. We are traveling there in October. Possibly planning a mini road trip there. Go to Columbia to the MU/Nebraska game on Thursday night and stay somewhere for the night and go on over to Butler. Still trying to work out the details. Gosh, I hate being so far away from EVERYTHING!!

Thank you Charmed and Michelle! He is a sweetie. He is big and has a deep bark. He appears scary but he is just a big baby! He was on death row at the vets office. I was at the right place at the right time to save him and am so glad I was.

Maybe we should just start out for NYs house! I hope she doesn't hide when she hears we are coming!!

Bruce was very lucky you came along. I like those big dogs so much better than the littler ones. (don't mean to offend anyone). And rescue dogs are so much more grateful! I had decided no more dogs after I got my girls (the goats) but Thunder came along and I instantly knew he belonged to us, even before his owner gave him up. I knew I was crazy, but I also felt he was ours. Hubby just shook his head, but he has fallen in love also. It is so cute to see them playing together!

I love you guys! I got off of work late and found out both my DD's had sleepovers! yeah...So I told my DH and I was too late he made plans to get a few brews with him "boys" still gone actually! so I came home to find my empty house a total disaster and cleaned- made a huge batch of guacamole and chips and ate to heart gut was going to burst! love ittt just not the onion breath-also gave me time to look for my "pastor Mike " again dang girl wonders off everyday-takes about an hour to find her-she never makes her way back home because shes literally blind from her top hat! Haircuts for all my silkies and her tomorrow night Wait I hear tires screeeching down my driveway..is that you guys already?? I havent had time to buy all the magic brews and munchies and all teh chick flicks to watch! Guacamole sound good? Oh and margaritas--

Chicken chick Bruce is gorgeous-how sweet that he plays with the cat!!! And hes watches the chicks too? you are very lucky and so was he!!!

NY--I missed you by less than 10 minutes last night. On Thursdays we have a show on the air about the football team, so I was here until it was over. You might as well get ready for us, I have never been to New York, so looking forward to that! My sis has been several times, but could never talk me into it! I have been to the DC area, but that is about as close I have gotten. In the next year or 2 we are planning a trip to Ohio though.

It was kinda depressing to see that we are all so far apart. Charmed isn't even really close. But, when you live in rural northern Missouri, there isn't anything very close!

Guess what?!? It is football Friday!

I have on my Bulldog shirt, nails painted, sweatshirt and blankets packed, van clean and oil changed and trying to help Tom remember all we need around here. Since it is a road game, we won't be back in time for the locker room show to start and we have new girls on the board tonight, so we are trying to get them as prepared as we can! After the games, we usually come in to answer the phones for the locker room show and I am such a geek, I love talking to all the coaches who call in. "So, coach, pretty tough loss tonight" or "I heard you did a pretty kick butt game tonight" or something like that before I put them on the air with the host. Shoot, I am even on first name/recognize their voices before the season is over! It runs til midnight, so we are pretty exhausted by the time the whole night is over!

Btw, did anyone else notice while they were out in other threads, there are some cruel people on here! Some of the stuff I read just appalled me! I am glad it is safe here!
