We leave in about an hour for the game. I took food to Colton, the bus should be gone by now, went home, pottied the dog, fed the cats and goats, grabbed my sweatshirt and should be good to go. Just waiting for my parents to get here and hubby to get off work.

On a totally unrelated note, Destiny and I are debating adding another goat to our herd. My friend that we got Bailey from is downsizing her herd and she has an adorable little feller that is almost 3 months old she would like to find a home for. I wouldn't even consider him unless he was a wether (which she said she would do). We have room in the pen for one more if we wanted, but given the fact that hubby was completely opposed to Bella, not really thrilled about Bailey, but under the circumstances allowed her to come home with us, I am not sure how he will react. I mentioned it last night and he didn't scream no, but I know he wouldn't be happy. He is absolutely adorable, but we are also trying to decide if we want 3 babies this year or wait until spring when the other 2 are older to have another little one. I really enjoyed bottle feeding, so I would miss all that. I told Des we would play it by ear and maybe she will find a good home for him.

No to be off-topic, but sadly Ni'ia our parakeet passed away today.

She had been sick since Wednesday and she had not gotten better. We are all so sad that she has passed away....


michelle Goats? I love goats! We dont have any though. We are maybe getting some next year. We just love little baby goats

Yep, we have 2 little boer goats. Bailey was a day old when I impulsively bought her at an auction in March. I had no idea how to take care of her, but I had wanted a goat for so long I just bid. I met a friend from someone I work with who gave me a crash course on goat raising 101! In May one of her goats gave birth to quads, one died shortly after birth and Bailey weighed in at 2 and a half pounds. She called me so she could be bottle fed, so we brought her home at 5 hours old. For the first day we had to syringe feed her and now she is a fat sassy little girl! For a while, we were bottle feeding both and Bailey slept with me for the first 2 weeks. I will have to take some new pictures of them this weekend and get them posted. Anyway, hubby had told me absolutely NO GOATS, but he wasn't at the sale to stop me and didn't speak to me for like 3 days after Bella came home. For Bailey I called and told him the situation and he agreed. He now loves them almost as much as I do! (although he won't admit it)

Hi guys! Just wanted to let you know we lost again tonight. 39-0, but we actually looked better. We let them jump to a 26-0 lead in the first quarter and held them until the 4th. I was pretty proud of them considering the team we played is ranked!

Im sorry you lost last night--It does sound as if your getting better though?? At least they have a huge support team like you and Destiny...good for them Vt trip was canceled until this coming Friday..Works out better though-the cabin will be finished and the guilt wont be so bad not being there to help!!!

Our kitten that passed away had a twin brother. He fell ill last night and it doesn't look good for him either. The girl that passed away was my favorite. Her name was Pepper, this one is DH favorite, his name is Pepsi.

This really bites! I cant see any sign of worms in this one and we used wormer on him the day his sister died.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. NY does that mean we can start packing now that the cabin is almost ready?

do I need to send out golden invitations? Pack your hinnies up and move it!!!! I have been bleaching and cleaning all my coops today bleah!!! I bleach all feeders and such once a month and what a mess because I ALWAYS wind up "redecorating" and organizing-trying to figure out where I like things better!!! Ill post some pictures of al my babies today and all their houses-and my girls and maybe if you guys are lucky my handsome DH woo-woo LOL...
