Hi my peeps-your going to kill me but I forgot the camera! I know I know! but I dont think we had alot of time anyway-My first drop off and pick up went well-on exit 6-met Lorri-fellow BYCer and her daughter-they show rabbits-very happy with the silkies they bought from me-very fluffy clean and healthy-I finally got my black girl silkie-she's molting right now so a little funky looking-but Im happy so far. Then Off to The other house--I get lost the last 5 minutes and delayed me 1/2 hour. Get there-Another fellow BYCer-she was just as sweet in person! I helped her cull a TON of roos-showed her how to process, gave her some tips on a few things and she to me and such had some java-then she had a radio interview with the chicken whisperer while I was there-pretty cool...I picked out 2 hens -we hope they are hens-she got my last of the silkies-She showed me where the feed store was and we bought stuff for a "farms" and we hugged and off I was home-So I had 3 bdays to buy gifts for and apple pies to make for today too! SO I stopped at an apple orcherd and bought "my homemade pies" and gifts for all the folks-killed 4 birds with one stone!!! I missed my exit on the ride home like adope and that took me an hour later to get home! Our tenants to rent the cabin show up at 3 today and we are sill not done but DH is still sleeping so Iwanted to post before I get that stinking whip cracked at me! I missed you guys-

DH went to town early to help my FIL out some more. He has a yard project going on. One of the things he had us do in the city was pick him up some sod. So while he is doing that and DS is still in town, I plan to mow the lawn, scrub the floor and when that is all done I hope to start one of three projects I never find time for!

I have 30 years of slides that belonged to my parents and grandparents that I want to sort through and organize. I also have an egg ornament project that I have been working on for, aah, almost a year! Then there is a book my DH bought me for a surprise gift at the beginning of summer, I am on page 30!

So I guess I had better get off of here and get busy if I hope to get any of that done! I hope you all have a great day!

Hey you wonderful girls! Someone on another thread just gave me a heads up that I am now a GFM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Me! Who knew??!!

This is a huge surprise and so sweet!! I think I may have an idea who did this, was it one of you? Thank you so much to whom ever did this. It means more than you know. It is also an early birthday gift!! I want to make sure and thank the right person. So, come on girls, fess up!!!!!!!!

Both my girls were at friends houses last night and we finally finished the cabin 1 hour before the first renters arrived-they LOVED it!!!! So In celebration of being 100% tired and broke we decided to go even more broke and meet up w friends for dinner-then instead of going home we went out to play pool and have a few more coctails! We were home by 11 but we started at 6..bleah!! Im so glad the renovations are done-next is our house-NEXT YEAR!!!! At least the new weekly renters are Very very happy and pretty much said theyll be back next year---they still have 6 days to go before they leave but Im sure theya re going to love it! The only thing that realy worries me is the crowing from my big dum polish roo! Typically I would not keep a roo that was as loud as he but he is not mean to us and hes gorgeous. I want his chicks in the early spring! If I was brave enough I would hatch out a bunch now and have newbies teens by spring but tired of incubating-so he will get a repreive until spring..

thechickenchick--Glad to see you back and congrats on your game!!

Unfortunately, we travel this Friday again, but luckily our JV games have been at home so far! We have another one tonight.

NY--You got the cabin done!

It is always a relief to have a project done. Not that I know that from experience, but one of these days I will have one of my projects I started completely done! We did paint a little bit of our bedroom floor, I got more clothes and blankets washed and put away and I finished painting the bookshelf and got one table for the bedside sanded and painted and the other one painted. I didn't even leave the homestead this weekend! Between housework and football, I was pretty busy!

For today, I have some ads to write and people to call. Hopefully lunch in the park with Hubby, Des and Tonna (like everyday) and then off to the football game!

Michelle, how did Destiny do friday nite?

I saw a coyote this morning across the road in the neighbors pasture. My gun was locked up in the safe and DH was already at work. I let the peeps out earlier. I hope they are safe today. darn coyotes. Haven't seen any coons for awhile so now the coyotes are coming around. Preditors, Preditors. It never ends.

We do have a new bull calf this weekend. Cute little thing. He was just a jumping around his mama and having some fun. Aren't baby animals wonderful!
