Thank you. I am feeling better. Pepsi s last sibling passed away yesterday morning. I went to let the chickens out and the poor thing was face down in the run. He had been fine the night before.

Thank you for the B day wishes too! It was a pretty good birthday, as far as birthdays go!!

We only get 3 sometimes 4 channels but we do get Two and 1/2 men. I love that show too! We only have the first 2 seasons of House. I will have to see if we get the channel the premeire is on. What night is it?

Hi guys! I am back and I feel much better after the trim!

Happy B-Day thechickenchick!! You deserved to be a bum this weekend! I am sorry to hear you lost Pepsi's sibling. You have had it rough!

Hubby finally found out where the chickens are getting out after putting them away everytime we came home this weekend. There was a small hole in the run that we looked and looked for and he finally found it. We are very lucky the neighbor's dogs didn't get ahold of any of them.

I guess we are going to have a football game in the rain tonight. Luckily we have a top over our bleachers. I am hoping

the boys don't have to wear their white jerseys tonight! I had a heck of a time getting blood out of it last week! (not Colton's)

I went to VT AGAIN sunday at 6am-I am a dope! Dont ask me what I was thinking-I was thinking in my mind what she was selling was light brahmas standard size-thats was the chickens I pictured in my mind-when I got there 3 hours later-they were SLW??? I knew what a SLW was I knew what a Light brahma was I had the two switched in my head-can you believe that! all that way for NOT what I thought-so I had to get some for others anyway and came home with 3 BO's 2 cinnamin queens-2 barred rocks-1 SLW-2 GLW-2 EE's. 7 hours of driving! I vegged all day when I got home-Then I spotted a raccoon on my barn! the hubbie got the gun and shot it! yeah-no kidding my FIL skinned it and is making a real coon skin hat--what a bunch of rednecks-then last night we spotted another one anad missed it-after antiques road is over DH and I are going back down on predator watch for a bit!! Losers! I can't stand it-they got into all my runs but did not get their paws on 1 chicken! the tore up part of the roof trying to get in! The one we missed was huge- stayed home today not feeling all there and DD did too-I think she was faking but you know what I jumped at the chance to stay home and clean my coops-made a ton of banana breads-zuchinni breads-homeade chili-I am a grub too! It felt good to just stay home today-Missed you guys!

WAIT-your DH made you soap? sweet.... and feeling like a bum for not doing much? don't you dare we deserve it from time to time as long as we dont do it every weekend! When I got home I thought man 7 hours of traveling was easy-not worth my time for what I didnt wind up getting but then again I thought how hard would a long trip to "visit" would do to me?? Charmed one..you baby is leaving for 5 months! wow-any tears yet??? I would just buying all the stuff for the trip...

I was here all day but swamped with all the cooking and such-I thought I would take my time tonight and re-read eveyones posts to catch up with everything and everyone-I stayed home today My oldest is sick now-she got home from school today and was stuffed up shes 14 ish so shell stay home tomorrow probably-In laws live next door-so she can hang with them or vice versa...I get so sad when they leave to go back to their winter home in Florida-they leave the first week of December every year-after hunting season..

Charmed, 5 months! My DS spends a month or so with his Dad in the summer and it drives me crazy. Although DH and I do make the best of our kid free time

, it is just way to quiet around here!

NY I am sorry you didn't come back with what you wanted.

How is your daughter feeling today? Better I hope. How is it having your IL living next door? I absolutely love mine so it would be kind of fun. Except sometimes FIL drives my DH crazy! FIL is retired and thinks if he "suggests" DH should do something, that means right now!!

Thank you again girls for the birthday wishes! Yes NY I am 29 again, and again, and.... I wish! Next year is the big 40! Not sure I am ready for that one

NY--The trip wasn't wasted, you had a good time? And good for you for taking yesterday off (I hope your girls are feeling better soon) We do all deserve time off. I just feel guilty when I don't get done what I want to. I even told hubby a week in advance I was taking the weekend off, but still felt bad about it. But, we had a great time! It was great to get together with friends and see my cousin again. There are many issues with her and the family, but until I straighten out the he said/she said, I am going to continue to stay in touch and support her. I may not always agree with her life choices, but we are only 13 months apart and very close growing up.

Yes, hubby made the soap! I haven't had time to try it yet. He worked on it while I made supper Sunday night. It had to set for 24 hours and we weren't home last night to bottle it. We lost our game. Again. But it didn't rain, so that was a blessing. We are just going to have to work harder for a win. Especially the passing game, on offense and defense. Colton is still in good spirits and working hard, and we are still cheering them on!

I hope you catch that coon soon, they can cause a lot of damage! We had one earlier this summer staying in the building the coop is attached to. Luckily he was stupid because he could have easily entered through the rafters. Anyway, Colton put out antifreeze and a trap and caught him and sent him home with someone who trains hunting dogs. Haven't seen any others. Just the possums that like to eat the cat food late at night.

That coon -coons! are in for it-we spotted 2 last night and shot at them we think we got one and wounded another but we'll find out tonight if they return??? Jerks-they are tearing up my coops and garage!
