Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Rochelle said she would bring the recipe in. I haven't got the cake one from Rhonda yet, she has been out due to her mom having eye surgeries/appointments this past week.

I think this weather is making everyone in the office cranky and stupid this morning!

to our secretary! Good thing I am leaving at noon and not back until Monday!

How has the season been going for your football team? If they have had a crappy one like us, losing the star really isn't going to make a difference anyway. But it is sad to hear they are losing a leader, especially due to injury. When we lost our star, I was glad the boys lost their "leader" since the drinking was ignored at the beginning of the year anyway. I think that is part of the reason the team isn't doing as well. It really put a split on the team when nothing was done. But when your "stars" are seniors and their families are someone in the community, there tends to be a blind eye put on situations. And what the heck is up with everyone hurting their feet and ankles this season??

The bridge I have to cross to get into town is expected to flood soon. I will have to drive way out of my way if that happens just to get home!! It has been raining hard but I don't know how much we have gotten yet.

Michelle..be careful driving today! Watch out for flooded roads! I hope it stops raining for the game tonight! Don't forget the rain gear!!

Has anyone talked to NY today?

I was just looking at radar and worrying about you! I see everyone in central Missouri is under flash flood warnings. It is starting to pick up here, but we aren't supposed to get near as much. I don't think there are any roads between here and Columbia that would flood, but I will check before I leave the office. I won't be back on here until Monday, but if you want, you can send me messages on Facebook and I can read and post from my phone. Do you other 2 girls have Facebook?

We have several roads around here that flood. Luckily, I don't have to travel any of them to get home and back. But, when we first moved to Tindall, the whole town would flood at any sign of heavy rain until the railroad put in bigger tubes. I can remember Destiny's border collie she had when she was little would come walking up the middle of the road and have to hold his head up so he wouldn't drown! It would all go down pretty quickly after the rain stopped and we were high enough it didn't get any of our property, but it sure was a pain!

I have not heard from NY and not sure she was on yesterday? Either she has gotten sicker or swamped from missing work. We will have to send out a search party soon!

Im here Im here Im sorry and swamped!!!! completely! thanks for asking guys!!! I promise tomorrowe I will have time??/ I hope, not all day but definatley some fun chitty chat time:) I better scoot back! Sorry for angering you CharmedOne:)-

So, the game was cold, miserable and wet!

To top it off, part of the electricity was out, so there was no announcer.
barnie.gif
We lasted through the first quarter and left in the second. Went back to the hotel to warm dry clothes and watched the rest on TV. And we lost.

Got up the next morning to find a laundry mat. My sis and I decided we were not going to travel with all those wet smelly clothes in the vehicle. While there, I get a call from Colton. "Hey Mom. How are you? I was at Royal Inn (pizza place) last night and said some things I shouldn't and got in trouble. I have to write a letter of apology, clean the practice field and locker room and run 2 extra gassers after practice every day. Do you want to talk to Coach?"
th.gif
Coach was very nice about it. Said he was a good kid who just made a mistake and apologized for ruining my day. I told him I agreed with whatever he handed out and it was unacceptable in our household and we would take care of it on our end also. There were 3 of them in the beginning and they cleared everyone else, but someone else ratted out another one before the end of the day. I guess one mother really ripped the coach a new one, but those boys in their jerseys are supposed to set an example so I totally disagree with her thinking. I said to coach "If you can straighten out all those ding dongs, go right ahead. Someone needs to!" He just laughed.

We shopped for a while and headed to Butler. It was cold and muddy, but thank goodness the rain had stopped. We got our
duc.gif
kicked there too. The back up quarterback got hurt, so we made a few plays without one. Luckily he got back in. We were on our 5th string kicker, but he didn't do too bad considering.

Got back to sis house with ice on the windshield and finally pulled into my driveway a little after 1 am. Didn't leave the homestead until I came to work this morning! PHEW!

Oh I bet that was cold! The chicken water was froze a couple of mornings ago too. I didn't think to plug it in. Geez it is only the first part of October. We had an unusually cool summer and now an early winter! I am ready for a warm tropical vacation. Ironically my son, Raymond is going on a cruise (not sure where, but its tropical) with his Dad the last week of this month. I was married to the butt for 10 years, he barley took me across the street! This is his third cruise in 3 years and the second time he has taken Raymond! Hmm, maybe I should ask for full child support instead of the peanuts he sends!

I too am doing the blown out egg decorations! I started them in March! I have 1 done!!!!

I want to see pictures of yours, please!!

We opted out of the family gift exchange this year. Every year we find somewhere else to cut back. We but for the local nieces and nephews and the adults drew names. The $ amount was $50. Well DS and I don't buy for each other, it just wasn't in the budget. We decided this year we would like to buy for each other or do something together with that $100. Christmas is really for the kids anyway. So if we are all together at the in-laws that is the important thing.

I am sorry you are going to be so busy. Wow! How do you do it.
barnie.gif
The holidays start to stress me out about this time of year too! Good luck on your exam. Don't worry about us, we will be here when you return!

So did you plan those babies so close together in birthdays!!
lol.png
Raymonds birthday is Nov 17th. I always find it sort of hard being so close to Christmas. The older he gets the harder he is to buy for and the more expensive the "toys"!!! This year though I got a jump on his birthday and the gifts are have been wrapped for 2 weeks all ready! Thank goodness for Amazon.com!

PS!! STAY OUT OF THE DUCK POND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is cold here, but not near what you and chickenchick have! Stay warm!

I am thinking of making Christmas gifts too. I was thinking of baskets with stuff in it like some homemade laundry soap, dry ingredient mixes, things like that. I haven't quite made up my mind yet.

Good luck with that exam! Heck yes, you need to pass it! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you. We can cheer you on, quiz you or you can type the stuff to us if it will help you remember!!

We are entering a hectic time of year. I hope we can all continue to stay in touch. Let's share ideas on homemade Christmas gifts!
