Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

That sounds so good. Baker and chef I am not. I made a gourmet dinner of tuna helper last night, 2 boxes. (yes, we are pigs) I couldn't figure out why it was so soupy, so while I was trying to cook it down to serve it, I decided to throw the second box away that was on the counter. Picked it up, something in it? Yes, the second bag of noodles. I can't even get that right!

Hahahah!

I admit that even though I hate Hamburger helper, I get Tuna helper gleam in my eye and I go get a box.

We really like the tuna helper and in my defense, I do try to cook a good meal when we are all together. But with our lifestyle that doesn't happen often! Hubby is a mechanic, which is sometimes worse than a doctor about getting calls and having to go "save" someone. Colton is done with football, but on to bigger and better things and is always off somewhere. When it is Destiny and I, we are content with a bowl of cereal! Tonight will be one of those nights!

Okay Terrie, I have to laugh at you about your surgery in Amber's thread! My sister had that surgery in February. She is older, has never had children and always a little more "uppity" than I would want her to be. Anyway, Mom, Destiny and I went with her and afterwards when the nurse explained to her what was expected, she was horrified. She doesn't do "things like that". We came home that night, Mom stayed with her. After about 3 days of being in there, they were both getting a little antsy. Mom finally put sis on the phone and I was like "Just fart already!" She finally did and got released. I still give her a hard time about it!

Great! I was starting to feel a little lonely over here! How was everyone's evening? I was pretty lazy with just the kids home. Worked some on peeling up my old linoleum in the kitchen. My house is still a wreck from remodel!

Ooh good idea.

Now that the center island is in, I realize how old and horrible our lino is in the kitchen.

Do you s'pose if I just rip it up, I will get new?

That is what is going to happen to me!

Hubby said he wasn't ready yet, but I went ahead and started it anyway. When I get it all tore out of living room/dining room/kitchen/utility room we will not have any old flooring left. We have already done the hallway and Colton's room. Destiny left hers concrete with a rug, and we painted our floor. We are going to tear out some walls to the rooms with linoleum before I get ready to put down new. All my floors are concrete. I was tired of carpet.

I would, but Destiny would probably hear me and quite possibly

Gee....I was "Rocking around the Christmas Tree" this mornimg in the truck. It's never too early for a little Christmas cheer. Forget the music and just find the mood!

I am not opposed to Christmas music this early. I am opposed to her blaring it to the point I can't listen to anything else or that I can't even make a sales call. She is the type that once she finds something, it is over and over and over. (and it wasn't even good music) Don't even get me started when she makes a new cd with her daughter singing! Lucky for me, she got hungry and left for lunch a few minutes ago! And lucky for the guy between us that he is out of the office for the morning!

We would have the station already decorated for Christmas or at least started, but after hauling all the Halloween stuff to the basement, I decided to wait a few weeks before bringing any more up! And I am thinking about a new tree this year for the house. I have slacked on decorating at home for the last few years and want to do more this year. I think last year about all I got done was lights on the chicken run!

Well, I'll have to say, with Riki gone to Thailand this year, I've already decided not to decorate the house. I have to work to keep myself from Bah Humbugging this year! My oldest is having Christmas at her house this year and I am going to lend her my decorations. Besides, my kittys love to climb the tree and play with the ornaments!

The cats have always been a major problem with my decorating too. But since Thunder has taken care of that, maybe I am safer this year. Now, here's to hoping Thunder isn't a problem with it all! My FIL has so many decorations indoors and out and goes crazy at Christmastime!
