of course which one?? haha
ok heres the the green one
tomatilla's tomatoes-1 can undrained
onion-1 medium chopped
chilies- 1 small can-spicy
undrained
salt
pepper
spinach-fresh-1 bag of fresh spinach
throw spinach-tomatillas-chilies in food procesor then blend the rest yummy!!!!!!
the cruda
is 4 big hard ( hard being the key) red tomatoes chopped-
1 lare onion chopped-
a large bunch of cilantro-
a few fresh jalapenos-chopped fine-
salt-
2 cans of drained chilies-
mix all together and let sit over night for maximum flavor--yummy with fried flour tortillas!!! and salt with a margarita!!!
I make something like this too but use onion, cilantro and tomatoes and lime juice. I am not crazy about hot stuff so I leave the jalapenos out. Pico de gallo is what my girlfriend called it that showed me how to make it. MMMMMMMMMM I do love cilantro! It smells so fresh!! I have a great recipe for mexican rice I will post when I find the recipe. The ingredients are mixed in a blender and then cooked into the rice with pigeon peas. It's the bomb. I use to work with a bunch of mexican ladies and boy could they cook. They made this rice milk drink. I think it's called horchata? I loved that stuff too. There was an authentic mexican restaurant down the street where we worked. They make tacos tripas. MMMMMM I'm making myself hungry! I wish dad would get up so I can raid the fridge! I'm being quiet right now!!
