of course which one?? haha

ok heres the the green one

tomatilla's tomatoes-1 can undrained
onion-1 medium chopped
chilies- 1 small can-spicy:-) undrained
salt
pepper
spinach-fresh-1 bag of fresh spinach
throw spinach-tomatillas-chilies in food procesor then blend the rest yummy!!!!!!

the cruda
is 4 big hard ( hard being the key) red tomatoes chopped-
1 lare onion chopped-
a large bunch of cilantro-
a few fresh jalapenos-chopped fine-
salt-
2 cans of drained chilies-
mix all together and let sit over night for maximum flavor--yummy with fried flour tortillas!!! and salt with a margarita!!!

I make something like this too but use onion, cilantro and tomatoes and lime juice. I am not crazy about hot stuff so I leave the jalapenos out. Pico de gallo is what my girlfriend called it that showed me how to make it. MMMMMMMMMM I do love cilantro! It smells so fresh!! I have a great recipe for mexican rice I will post when I find the recipe. The ingredients are mixed in a blender and then cooked into the rice with pigeon peas. It's the bomb. I use to work with a bunch of mexican ladies and boy could they cook. They made this rice milk drink. I think it's called horchata? I loved that stuff too. There was an authentic mexican restaurant down the street where we worked. They make tacos tripas. MMMMMM I'm making myself hungry! I wish dad would get up so I can raid the fridge! I'm being quiet right now!!

Sunshine, outside, oh you are killing me rir!! I had to plug in the pickup last night and let it run for half an hour to get Raymond to the bus stop 1 mile away. AND it was 13 in the coop this morning!!

It was 5 here this morning. I am enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with peppermint mocha creamer in it and eating my dipped pretzels!

Btw, we used a crock pot to melt the bark, it seemed to work great. We just turned it off or on as we needed and spent the whole day making candy!

Michelle thanks for the tip! That is a wonderful idea! All these years, why didn't I think of that!

Sending up prayers that your daughter gets good news at the doctor's office! I am also relieved your dad is doing better!

about the egg! We have all been there, done that!

That sounds like such a neat project! The grandkids will love doing that.

We kept light in the coop from 7 am to about 9 pm all winter last year and the girls layed really well, but this year we are just letting nature take its course. They don't seem too interested in laying right now anyway!

Charmed I am glad to hear both your Dad nad your Daughter are doing better, and you too! I know what you mean all this food talk is making me hungry too. I would love your rice recipe. That candy idea sounds fun too! I may try that next year. I am trying to convince myself that I am done!I am still saying prayers for your family, remember I am thinking about you all!

I didn't think of it either until we decided we wanted to go to the living room to watch movies. Just set up a card table and went to work. It doesn't take long to melt either. We did one package at a time and it gave us a little break in between while waiting. I am just glad I could share a little something with you guys all showing off with your recipes!

BTW, whats for dinner? I am thinking sloppy joes, maybe. I have a crock pot recipe we really like. Easy and yummy. That means I have to bake buns though not sure I am in the mood today.

I make Manwiches and my boys aren't too keen on that. Share your recipe and maybe they would eat them. Sloppy joes are one of my favorites! (I think I will buy my buns at the store though

I am just a simple person. I look at recipes and they have so many things in them it scares me.
