You all are soooo funny!!! I can see why you would think I sent the cold weather your way, Michelle....We are having some snow flurries this morning and I thought you sent them here!!!

It's so good to see new faces here! It always feels like family here.

Do any of you have any New Years traditions? Like I always cook black eyed peas and fix a mess of greens for good luck. What do you do?

Also I wanted to mention tonight is a Blue moon!!! Won't have another one until Nov 2010 then not until 2012! If you only do something once in a blue moon then tonight is the night!!

What do you mean you HAVE to be nicer to me. You're the one who reads all those homicide books....you and Montana there. I always thought I would have to watch my back with you. Especially since you're going to be packing heat!!!

We really don't have any New Years traditions. Just celebrate hubby's birthday on eve and lots of football and resting up the next day!!

I just heard on the radio it is a Blue Moon and Des and I are so excited!

I have to tell you girls this!

Hubby brought in the mail last night when he got home. There was a package from BYC. I of course immediately asked him what he ordered?! He has done this before, thats how I got my BYC hoodie. He loves to just order me surprises.

Anyway he says it wasn't him. So I opened it. It was a BYC calender and Cookbook from BYC member Dar(formerly mjsdhs)!

She had seen a post that I had written about not getting a calendar, so she had Rob send me both!

How sweet! Did any of you girls order one yet? They are really nice. The cookbook has some of the BYC favorites, like Gump Bread and 10 egg pound cake (which I am planning to bake today!). The calendar is really nice too. It has great photos and is set up beautifully.
