Nothing special here either really. Quite lazy actually! I am making the boneless Buffalo Wings from the BYC cookbook. I made a cheese dip and dried bread squares to serve with it. I also will slice some summer sausage and provolone cheese with crackers, and wine! Lots of wine, oh and candles, lots of candles! ( We are kid-less

) We will be asleep by 10! We are in bed at 9 any other night so thats huge for us!!

I ordered both and got them a few weeks ago. Loved looking at all the pictures in the calendar. Not sure why I got the cook book since I never read those kinds of books.

Greetings and Salutations.

Wow, another year of life. Another year of blessings , lessons, and hardships. I just wanted to wish you all a wonderful 2010, may it be filled with blessings in all aspects of life. May the Lord bless you all in your marriages, in your relationship with your children, in your finances and in good health.

Since this is BYC: May all your chicken related endeavors be successful this year.

ok first happy 2010 girls. second I am a dum AS@. I went to bed with a headaches and was sleeping by 10pm..woke up at 6 am with that headache. I am so spacey in the morning that I reached for my DH's aleve and dont ask me why or how but at 6 am I took my sleeping and happy pills all over again! Im going to be so tired and out of it for the better part of the morning! what a dipstick!,,,good grief....Ill know how this turns out if my wording starts smearing together and Im falling alseep on here in 1/2 hour!

I wish I had some of those pills.. I drank some coffee last night so I could last out church's new year service and I ended up going to bed at 3-4am and this morning my cat wakes me at 7am for food. Sleeping pills would be super right about now.

I took pics of the girls today to commemorate the new year.

Agnus: She is photogenic and likes to model for the camera so I always get good pics of her.

Here is Matilda: She is not the smartest of the bunch but you can always count on her to just go sit somewhere and be a good girl.

and Finally Hilda, oh my. This chicken is spoiled you should hear her, so vocal. She is the one who nests but I have get to get an egg. Also the pictures from her are not the best because she won't stand still one moment. I always have to capture her while moving. Today as I was going to take the picture of her she rushed me and started pecking at the buttons on my shirt. This one is the boundary tester.

Happy New Year to my favorite "peeps"!!

rir those are great photos! It looks so nice there today. 11 degrees here so far, doesn't look like it is going to get a lot warmer today. We are going to get a bit of snow tonight too.

NY you are a goof!!

I love ya though, really! I am sorry you had a rough morning and right now you are probably sleeping it off!

Hubby came home about 6:15. I had the "snacky" buffet set up in the living room. I have an antique linen table cloth of my Grandmas that fits our big oak coffee table. It hangs down almost to the floor. I draped that on there, then I pulled 3 Martini glasses out of the china hutch and put tea light candles in those. Hubby and I have a favorite wine we discovered on one of our Anniversary trips. I didn't have any of the wine but I had the bottle. So I put it on the table too with a red taper candle in it. I lit those when I saw his headlights on the gravel. Put the dogs to bed and set the food out and poured some wine for each of us. I set the remote for the TV on his side as I figured he would want to watch TV. Well, he walked in and said, Wow! It looks romantic in here. We just sat and talked and enjoyed the food and the evening. He never once touched the remote! About 9 we went to bed. So thats how exciting we were! I got a text from Charmed at 12:13 AM so I must be the only fuddy duddy of the group! I was sound asleep by midnight!

FYI The Boneless Buffalo Wing recipe in the BYC cookbook is wonderful. It got rave reviews from hubby too.
