Honey, Red Neck is our middle name! Of course, we will always love you!
That stuff is really neat! I can't wait to start collecting when I get my remodel done. I am usually like NY, but I am looking forward to having a collection, that is, if it doesn't get too overboard!
We are awaiting for the first snow flakes to fall here in northern Missouri. The warning goes in effect at noon, but some schools have already called in early dismissals. It is church night so that means the phones will be that much busier. Tonna, Des and I had my hubby bring us in this morning. By the time we get off work we are already supposed to have a couple inches and the arctic front will be here by early evening to blow all the
snow around. We are right now concerned about the drifting and wind chills. Hopefully Colton will get back from school early enough to take care of the animals before it gets too bad.
I know how scared you must have been when you heard about Raymond's bus. When the kids were younger and rode the bus, I was always scared to death when they got on. At some point after Des started and before Colton started school the bus driver they had was already 70 years old. Old Marvin was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet and took wonderful care of the children, but his age and health concerned me. He finally did have a stroke and had to quit driving about the time mine stopped riding the bus. I was lucky, Destiny was dating Jason, his best friend was a year older and he took them when he turned 16, then Jason when he was old enough. When they graduated, hubby's job by then was right across the road from the High School, so he has been taking Colton until he started driving himself this year.
Yes, Des knows she is in trouble and tried to apologize profusely last night. I told her she would have to take it up with Charmed now!
