Babies and you get to be on BYC ALL day! Sounds like a wonderful day! Raymond stayed in town at a friends house and hubby is working so I am being lazy. I am still in my bathrobe and haven't done a darn thing yet! Well I did finish off a pot of coffee!

Those are the best days! Im in jammies too 3rd cup of Java too...I have manages to get in 3 loads of laundry -and get out in this freezing weather to feed and water all my babies in the coops! collect eggs and such-got another split lav silkie egg-saving all those buggers for the next hatch starting the 14th!!!

I did chicken chores in my white and pink bathrobe! I do need to get dressed in a while and go scrape poop!

It has been freezing as soon as it hit the board, floor, nest and everything else! So now it is finally thawing at least for a day or two so I had better get to it. But first.. more coffee!

bathrobe?? I had snowmobile boots on and hat gloves and down winter jacket! Now that is just plain redneck! LOL

Hi there gang! Sorry I went missing, it is so sweet of you to miss me!!

I have caught that terrible flu, I don't know if it would be the H1 one, but I have been trying to get over it and it keeps hanging on. I am a bit better today. My head was kind of spinning and it was hard to try to read the computer screen so I laid low for a few days.

I can't tell you how thankful I am! I never thought I would miss our little grungy, dinky Pamida store, but I sure have found that I do.

I am so far behind on the posts! I am glad to hear I am not the only one who goes out in jammies and snow boots LOL! My girls are really laying well now, some days we are getting 13 eggs for 15 girls. They seem to lay at somewhat different times of the day, so it difficult to catch the eggs before they freeze in this weather.



I am off to to go back and read a bit!

I complain about this Pamida too. It is one of the only places to shop and it seems they never have what we are looking for. However, every time I put Raymond on the train I spend a couple of hours there just browsing! I don't shop much and its pretty quiet, so I enjoy it.

I am so lucky we don't have neighbors to see me running across the yard in my snow boots or nightie in the summer! I have surprised the UPS guy once!

Good Morning! It is finally warming up a little bit. I think it was 24 on my way to work! We had cold mornings this weekend but it is looking up!

I went home early Friday and didn't leave the homestead all weekend! Today was the first time I have drove myself since last Tuesday. It is nice to actually start to see the roads again!

chickenchick-- I went downstairs a bit ago and weighed myself.

Time to start the weight loss program again! I will start by cutting back on the mountain dew, drinking more water and daily exercise. We have a room set up with some equipment down there if I would just utilize it. The basement is also big enough to have a little make shift walking track also. It is time to get serious!!

NY--Congrats on the babies!! How many hatched?
