Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

Okay, that snowman is way too cute! Destiny and I talked about making one, but it has just been too cold. You may have inspired us. After all, we do have those new warm boots, coveralls and work gloves! I don't think her and I have ever built one, she was more of an indoorsy child. Couldn't and still can't keep Colton inside! We definitely want to do a pic adventure with the snow.

Your flock is gorgeous and look so happy. Des was looking over my shoulder saying "Is that snow? Her chickens actually walk around in the snow??"

Garden huh? I haven't thought that far ahead yet. I want fresh tomatoes and corn on the cob!!

Hoping spring comes early!

Eta: Destiny also wanted to tell you Bruce is a very handsome dog! And Mocha is pretty too!

Thanks for the compliments and tell Destiny thanks too! Believe it or not, the little dog on the back of the couch really is the boss! My chickens are big sissys! You can see most of them are walking on the shavings I had just shoveled out of the coop, my floor was soaked again

I did get them to walk on the snow a bit but they were bribed with popcorn!! I hope you build a snow man and share pictures!

I am ready for gardening too!! I have been drooling over the garden catalogs the past few nights. Kenny keeps reminding me that it is only Jan. You can't plant around here until at least the second week in May! I just mumble and keep secretly planning my dream garden!

Shoot! I didn't even notice the third dog! I knew there was one, but didn't see it!

While you all are dreaming of spring and planning your gardens, I am secretly planning on how I am going to work another baby goat into the family.

Please don't tell hubby, I will spring it on him at the appropriate time! I am trying to decide on another Boer because that is what we already have and maybe a little wether since they are really useless and most end up at slaughter. But, a cute little pygmy or smaller breed sure would be fun. With my track record, I am sure something will just fall in my lap. It always does!

Maybe we will take off early this afternoon. The boss is gone, we have worked hard the last few days and the sun is shining! If we do, I will be sure to document with lots of pics!

Awwwww!! I want a goat! DH won't let me have one. You'll have to have goats for me, Michelle! I'll enjoy them through you!!

Honey, you heard my story about getting my goats. Hubby said absolutely NO GOATS!!! (Not my fault he let me go to the sale without him!) He only quit talking to me for a few days after Bella came home and actually agreed to Bailey. If two fall into my lap this spring, I will give you a visit! Seriously, you don't know what you are missing if you have never hand raised, bottle fed a new goat! Those little cries and kisses are priceless! And just like real "kids", sometimes you just want to bonk them over the head!

I can just imagine. I have helped feed a bottle calf once. Little ones are soooo cute! They have baby goats at the sales every once in a while. I'll have to work on DH between now and then!!

Here is the day I brought Bailey home. We weren't even sure she was going to make it, she was so small. Hubby is holding her and Colton has Bella, who was almost 2 months at the time.

Destiny and Miss Bailey.

Now, how can you resist that?

I got Bella for $15 at the Tina sale and Bailey was given to me. He couldn't argue that. It is the $20 a bucket for the milk replacer. Their grain though is actually cheaper than dog food. Seriously though, I may have some opportunities and will let you know. My friend Stephanie sold several of hers, but will probably have some new babies in the spring. Between her having the stuff and my wonderful expertise

we even give the shots and wormer ourselves. Work on him, I will work on you and we will see what spring brings!
