Told ya his "day off" on the couch wouldn't last long. He is outside getting a big box full of deer meat ready for me to cut up so it will fit in the grinder. A friend gave it to us this Sunday and after being bled for the past few days it is ready to be processed. The really cold temps has made it possible for us not to have to keep ice on it. Never got over 35.
After that he is going to fix my chicken fence. A really big dead oak tree fell over in strong wind a few weeks ago and took the fence with it and my poor girls have been cooped up in their house ever since. Really I am glad my DH got fired. I hated that job and now he has time to fix a few things around here be for he gets a new job. That man is always able to find a job when no one else can.
Going to go cut up the meat now.

Elizabeth--Sorry to hear about your husband losing his job, but hopefully it will lead him to bigger and better things!

quietheart--I know what you mean about your husband, mine is on the go from the time he gets off "work" evenings and weekends and deals with a cranky, ungrateful boss when he is at work!

charmed--I hope you are having sunshine and warmer weather like I am! I have done all my errands today without my coat! I also bought some ice melt and have declared war on the "ice rink" outside my office door! I am getting ready to go out and chisel it all away after letting the stuff set!

chickenchick--Good Luck at the appointment tomorrow and be sure to let us know as soon as possible what you found out! We did go out in the snow yesterday but didn't build anything. We gave the girls some much deserved attention and chased the ducks and geese around for a while for entertainment and exercise.
Keep fighting with that Wii, I know you will win!!

rir--glad you are back! We were getting worried!

NY--I am drinking my water!! I am trying to cut down on portions and have cut down my smoking too!

bantima--Glad you came back to see us too!

Thanks Michelle for the well wishes. I will fill you all in as soon as I can. I can't believe we have had to wait 2 months for this appointment. I hope it can bring me some relief from my constant worrying.

I have decided NOT to throw the Wii out the window just yet. I did run 4 miles with it today

I just got back in from working on the snow/ice/slush outside my door. I made a good dent in it, but sprinkled it again and waiting for another go round with it after while. I am trying to clear as much as I can before it freezes back up tonight. There is a chance for freezing drizzle too, but I am holding out hope it will miss us.

My printer finally finished its temper tantrum and gave me the paperwork I needed. I now sit here and chuckle as Destiny's is doing the same thing! She has several certificates to print in a short amount of time and has patience like her mom!

The frustrating part is I don't know exactally where I need to be, but I have the address and I know the area a little from when Raymond was in the hospital. If I do drive we will leave plenty early so I can ask directions if I need too!

You need a tomtom!! I am so disappointed that I haven't got to even use mine since I got it for Christmas. Seriously, that thing rocks!

Mapquest it Tanya! It will give you turn by turn directions. I'm saddling up Betsy....be there as soon as I can.....What is warp speed on a clydesdale anyway???
