Don't worry, I hope my mom doesn't come into the room

My mom has frizz hair. We had to go see a lady for something and we arrived when it was dark. My mom knocked on the door and the lady opened the door and screamed! She thought it was some type of wild thing

Sonew your pictures have confirmed my feelings regarding snow. Whenever I want to see snow or take pictures I go up to Palomar Mountain and Julian. I will continue to enjoy snow in this manner as a recreational activity and not as an everyday thing.

Wowsers! I feel like I have been gone for a week! I haven't been on my normal amount the past few days and I don't know where to start. You have all said so many wonderful things about Raymond and been SO supportive.

Thank you to everyone! Raymond has come a long ways and I have done a lot of praying. I have been frustrated because his original DRs wrote us off after a year after making promises they couldn't follow through on. It means so much to have friends like you to share the DRs news with. I appreciate all of you

Enough mushy stuff!!!!

Charmed had her sale today. I wonder if she got her goat?

It is so nice to see more of Algo, Quiet, Bant, Jazzy and rir. Bant I like your new avatar.

NY I love those pics. You have a beautiful view. ( thou shall not covet thy friends trees....)

Michelle I am sorry I missed you today! Hubby went fishing so I washed all the laundry and scrubbed every floor in this house! This mud has been driving me insane. I have laminate flooring throughout (except out BR). The poor dogs have been left out side all day and I don't want to bring them in. It is so clean looking right now! I know I can't leave them out much longer...

All this talk about digging up graves and treasure hunting is exciting

Where our farm is located use to be a booming oil town in the 30s. It was a town of 3500 people and full of wealthy tycoons. The oil wells are still here and running. There are just a few houses left and a little cemetery I walk to when its nice. So where the fields are now used to be dirt streets and businesses. I have seen some awesome pictures of what it used to be like out here. My father in laws family homesteaded on this property. The house used to be where our trailer sits now. My MIL has always wanted to wander around out here with a metal detector. FIL says all we will find is old pipes

Maybe, but it would be fun to try. I am tempted to get her a metal detector for Christmas so we can do it!

Sorry but at 12:22 am most of us were sleeping. Thats what time it shows you were on (my time). The time difference does make it hard sometimes.

Morning all! 26 here so far. Teen ager is still sleeping in and DH and I are on our second pot of coffee. As soon as Raymond gets up DH is going to cook my favorite for breakfast, and NO it is not diet friendly, but I promise to eat half of what I usually do and skip lunch!

Bant I am sorry I missed you, like Algo said, I was sleeping! Normally I am in bed at 9. Last night was a little later as hubby came home late from ice fishing )empty handed I should add

). I am not on much after 6 or 7 normally unless hubby is working or playing late.

Not sure what our plan is for the day. I am hoping hubby is going to start on the bathroom project. We bought a medicine cabinet on friday. Have you heard of the Habitat for Humanity Restore? It is so awesome. People donate their items like from a remodel and such. You can get anything from closet doors, stoves, light fixtures! I love unique items and think older stuff has much more character. Any way this cabinet is huge, it is the kind with the 3 mirrors that open with tons of shelves inside. It has a gold wood frame around it with sort of an antique finish on it. It has a few chips and needs to be painted but I am not sure what color to do or if there is a neat faux finish I could try. Any of you have any ideas? I will try and post a picture of it today.
