Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

She said this one never was a good eater. She got it from Petco. We went out and got some fruits and veggies and hopefully now that he isn't in the water all the time, he will be happier and start eating more. Apparently they only eat a few times a week anyway.

We will take pics tonight when we get them all out to exercise and eat. I just wish I had a little more info on them.

well I also know they are not water turtles. I always find them in the woods no where near any water. So yeah, it would be happier out of the water.

Good morning! You girls were talkative yesterday and I missed most of it!

Michelle
how are the turtles this morning? I had turtles for a short while, they came with a Man I didn't want! They were just tiny though, one was a blind turtle named Speedy!

I know what you mean about getting yourself into these things! I do the same darn thing. At the same time I had the turtles, my X husband was moving and asked if I would keep his Iguana for a month or so. I of course said yes. Then the x boyfriend (turtle boy) left me with these turtles AND his Iguana. Raymond and I already had a snake, then my co-worker needed a home for another snake. Where do you think it wnet to live?
hu.gif
Yep you guessed it! On top of that I was the Crazy cat lady on the corner. Hey you don't want your cat, drop it off over there. I couldn't afford to get everyone fixed, so at one time I had 18, yes, 18 cats. oh and I also found a stray dog and kept her. She turned out to be the love of my life though. I miss Abby

Anyway I ended up with those Iguanas for over a year, until I was moving and told them they needed to come remove their lizards from my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NY turkey soup sounds wonderful! I am really lucky, my DH will eat leftovers. He doesn't care if they are disguised or not. Although I do try to use them to make something different. But if we are busy he will just heat them up. He says it was so good the first time, why wouldn't I eat the second time.

Raymond is just use to, if Mom puts it in front of me then I better eat it!

Speaking of Raymond he is a little upset with me this morning! His hair was just getting out of hand. He was born lucky. His hair is super thick and grows very fast. But he doesn't look good with long hair. It just gets to bushy and it is course so there isn't much you can do with it. For the first 8 years of his life he always wanted a buzz cut. Worked great, I could do it myself. Well of course that has changed now. Every time I take him to get his haircut Hubby would make a comment about it didn't look like it had been cut. The poor stylist was trying to keep us both happy but in 2 weeks it needed it again. So last night I decided to buzz it. I used the longest guard I had so it isn't shaved. It really does look nice. I love being able to see his face!

Algo I am glad you had such a good time at your party!

Quiet it is great to have you back! Are you feeling better today?

I can't remember what color they are but one caught a baby mouse before he even knew what it was!

I'll just leave them tied up in your yard. You will think it's Christmas again. Donkey will be a great addition to your petting zoo!

Thank you, but I have enough ummm "donkeys" at my house. They are called hubby and son! Clydesdale? I am dying to see yours. I think they are the most beautiful horses!!

Right now I am stressing about the turtles. Why do I get myself into these things?

I have racked my brain all day to come up with a different set up for them!

My FIL was being a pain to my MIL one day. She was venting to me so I told her he was just suffering from Donkey syndrome. The good news is it doesn't usually last to long. She looked at me sort of puzzled, until i said, ya know, he is being a jack***! She just loved that! Every once in a while she will say he has "the syndrome" again! She called from Arizona last night to visit with me. She is having a great time and the weather is perfect. I am so jealous!

Good Morning chickenchick! The turtles are doing great, so far. We moved the 2 aquatic into a tote so they would have more room to swim and got them all out and served them a delicious salad last night. Donnie (the box one) went right after the strawberries, but the other 2 weren't interested. The biggest one just wanted to explore. Whoever said turtles are slow, haven't met this one! It measured out at just over 8 in. in shell length and the other 2 are around 6 1/2 inches. We took some pics and I will post them in a bit. Destiny even has a special one she had me take for you since you asked for them! I have company right now, so it will be later.

So, yes, you sound like me. I even practice "No, I don't need any more living creatures!" But when the time comes, I buckle! I draw the line at any other reptiles though. No lizards, snakes or anything else scaly. The "No" would be so easy for that!

The turkey noodle soup did sound really good. How did it go over? We shake and baked some chicken breasts and served them with mac and cheese and stuffing. Tonight we are going to take the remaining chicken and make chicken and rice out of it. We really like the boxed chicken flavored rice and just add cubed chicken to it.

Colton used to have blond curly hair when he was younger and it was beautiful! I kept it that way until he was old enough to notice. Then he went through the stage of wanting it shaved off in the summer. So, I got out the razor and literally shaved it every few days. Now, he just likes it really short, so his dad takes the clippers to him out in the garage and I don't ever have to worry about it.

Ooh! I am watching and waiting and......

I practice and practice that NO word. I am just not good at it!

We have a bit of a problem with our big dog Bruce. He is normally such a sweet dog and I am sure you can tell from the pics he is a big boy! He has always been close to Raymond. When he is gone for the weekend he paces up and down the hallway etc. The night before last Raymond let him in the back door. The wind was blowing hard and the screen door slammed shut on Bruces tail. Well it was dark back there and Raymond didn't know why the dog was freaking out. He was jumping around and crying/growling/yipping, you all know the chaos that ensued! Raymond s brain doesn't process things like that very clear. He just screamed and ran away. I was across the room and flew over there. I assumed that his tail was in the door and had to reach over him to open the door. After a minute or so after we checked his tail he was just fine.

The problem? Now he growls and shakes at the site of Raymond. I am so sad for him because he loves his dog and never meant for him to get hurt. I am terrified because if that dog were to lung at Raymond I know I could not stop him. For now we are of course keeping Bruce away from him. But we can't do that forever. Should we try a mussel and try to let Raymond get close to him so he knows he won't hurt him. Or should we try to find a new home?
