We still are having sunny days and each day it gets a bit warmer. Just enough to make me start catching spring fever! We have a chance for rain/isolated thunderstorms over the weekend or early next week, but with all the snow melting, we are already definitely wet enough for now!

One night I had a client that came late and he is a pain in the butt to take care of, it was 6:15 that night, ummm maybe Monday? Yesterday I had to do painful shopping with Carol, got home right after 7 and tonight Destiny has a ballgame, will be at least 6:30.

I am just having a bad week!

Good Morning! The sun is shining and it is Friday!!!

Am I a total witch for refusing to "help" with an Easter egg hunt that is being planned at the last minute? I know if I do, I will get sucked right into it and I am putting my foot down. I have many reasons why I don't want to do it, mainly because I don't want to (to be perfectly honest) and I won't give anyone here the other reasons because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings around here. Forgive me, I am just ranting!

I am looking forward to leaving early this afternoon and I am optimistic there won't be anything to stop me. I am going to clean out my van and enjoy the sunshine and spending time with my animals!

Update on Brandy: She got her bone marrow transplant Wednesday evening. It went well, but unexpectedly her blood sugar has shot way up, so they have her in ICU and monitoring that and pumping in insulin. Overall, it is looking good, so far, but it will be a good 3 weeks before we know how successful it actually is.

Good morning all!! We are back to reality

Of course we missed all the animals and Raymond too! I always worry with so many pets at home something could happen, but everyone appears just fine. I haven't done a head count on barn kitties yet because it was dark but I will be going out there soon. Ginger was a great chicken protector because they are all accounted for. She isn't big enough to hurt anything but her yippy barks should annoy anything enough to scare it off! We also count on those Nite Guard lites. I read all kinds of threads here about people bashing them because they are to good to be true but me response is always , just try them!

Thanks for the update on Brandy. She is still in my prayers. I am glad there is positive news that can make a world of difference in a bleak time.

I got a call last night that an old friend I worked with years ago lost her husband. He was 84 and died at home with all of his family there. So sad. She taught me so much about cooking when I was 20. Very sweet lady and I remember him coming to have coffee with us.

Our new dog is awesome! I will post some pics later today, hopefully. His name is Rocky( all ready named) and he is just super behaved.

Good for you Michelle putting your foot down.

It sounds to me like there is a lot of " Oh don't worry, Michelle will take care of it" going on around there. They need to step up once in a while too!

I am glad you had a good time and everything was still intact when you got back! I need a vacation!!

Thank you for continued prayers for Brandy, we are thankful for anything positive right now. I think Tonna and I with the Tupperware and Cara with Mary Kay are going to have an Open House and donate most of the proceeds are going to be donated to the family.

I am so sorry your friend lost her husband.

At least he was surrounded by family. That makes a world of difference for everyone involved even though it is still a tough thing to deal with.

What kind of dog is Rocky? We are waiting pics on him and Cash! Maybe I can bring June with me to visit and they can meet!

I am pretty proud of myself for sticking to my guns about the Easter hunt. I see it as a train wreck that I will sit back and watch rather than being involved. I just don't want the extra stress. I gotta tell you, it has surprised several people that I did say no. Problem is, it does make me look like a witch since I just said no instead of the guy in charge is not a leader, not dependable, everyone sat on their

too long and have waited until the last minute, I could go on and on, but I just declined to offer help!

On a good note, my Mom is coming to see us today and we are going to have lunch together. My step-dad has another eye check up so they will be over here in a little bit. Then I plan to get out of here early and enjoy my afternoon. After tomorrow, I only have 2 more Saturdays to work!!
