Good Morning Everyone!

I had a busy, crappy afternoon yesterday so I couldn't talk much. I was hoping today would be better, but I started it out with trying to figure out an order. The order says 214 ads. If you total the column they got it from it is 218 and if you count the actual schedule it is 211!

I took a deep breath and e-mailed the guy and said FIX IT! And put it away for now.

algo--There are several people even here in Missouri that use the a and it drives me crazy! My Mom would be one of them! I have a policy that if any political candidate uses the "a" I automatically won't vote for him! It is just one of my pet peeves. (Sorry Charmed if you are one of those people!) I guess you can call me "picky" when it comes to pronouncing things. Therefore, it is driving me absolutely crazy that I have been pronouncing Tanya's name wrong all this time!

I am not even going to go into how ridiculous the whole Lindsey Lohan thing is!

As for pronunciation .. it is a booger for me too .. so the Lord put me with a man who pronounces MANY things funny. I've ALMOST gotten tired of correcting him ..

Wash is Warsh
Bayou is By-Oh
Ambulance is Amb- uh - lance
Vietnamese is Viet- maneese
Embers from a fire .. he calls AMbers

Oh well .. I love him anyway ..

Seriously, though, I'm sure we pronounce stuff funny to people from other areas ..

The worst example I can think of for mispronunciation is... I dated this guy years ago that would order the Chicken Filet, just like it is spelled. Fill-it ! Drove me nuts. I would order the same thing and say it right and he would argue with me, every time!

Speaking of prayer, did you get to talk to your friend? I can't imagine what she is feeling right now. I thought of her all night last night.

Destiny found out last night that a girl she graduated with (who has since moved away to get away from her baby's father) lost her little boy Sunday. While she was taking a shower, the little guy (2 years old) got ahold of a plastic bag and suffocated. I don't even know what that whole family is going through right now.

Anyway, I am hungry so I am going to pull out the ole Girls Scout cookies in my desk and relax!

Thank you for asking about D. I have not heard from her yet today. I was going to do some searching and see if there was any news on the condition of the boy. I haven't had a chance yet.

I can't believe I forgot to tell you this. I got a very "jaw dropping" phone call just before we left on our trip. My cousin was 53, single and living in Washington. My Aunt had tried for 3 days to call him from her winter home in Arizona. Finally she called the authorities and had them do a welfare check. He was found dead in his home. He had battled stomach cancer years ago so they assume it was complications from that. Neighbors, friends, work? Nobody thought to check on him? They are unsure how long he laid there. There is a thread that reminded me I hadn't told you about this. Have you seen it? It is about a woman that had been dead in her home for over a year and nobody knew she was missing.
