Good morning all!

We got an inch (at least) of snow late yesterday afternoon. It started snowing as soon as I pulled into the yard. It didn't snow for very long but we sure got enough of it. Looks kinda pretty

Only 14 degrees though

NY at least you were able to get things straightened out with HR. I used to work for the state and our HR department was a joke. It took so long to get anything done.

Good Morning! I am back!

Things aren't looking good, but she is still hanging in there. The liver is failing which is a pretty good indication that she is rejecting the transplant. They gave her steriods to see if that will help, if not, they will need to do a biopsy to know for sure and she isn't really strong enough for that. I am still hoping and praying, but we are also being realistic. She has the most beautiful pics of her girls in her room, just breaks my heart. That and having a long talk with her Mom who has taken care of her from day one. It is just tough all over!

We are forecasted for 3-5 inches tomorrow, you know, the first day of spring! One of us here in Missouri is under a winter storm watch, I will not mention names to protect myself! When will the madness stop!

I am worn out! We were home by 9, but it took me quite a while to wind down. And it didn't help that the basketball tournament started yesterday, so I relaxed by watching some of that.

Oh, and Destiny went and picked up 2 duckies yesterday!! It wasn't the black ones like we wanted and I don't know breeds, but one is brown and one is yellow. They are adorable, but I didn't have much time to play with them last night. Colton also called my cousin who runs a farm and home and asked if he could order some turkeys for him. I had him ask if he could get some black cayugas while he was at it. So, there may be more babies coming next week!! My cousin has been so great with helping Colton. He is the one who ordered our first chickens, didn't charge us shipping or tax and gave Colton great discounts on the stuff he bought at his store. Rusty was in FFA in High School and is thrilled Colton is taking it so serious!

I promise to get pics this weekend! Hopefully things will slow down to where I can just enjoy basketball and house work at my own pace the next few days! Thunder and all the pets are feeling a little neglected, so I will try to make it up to them too. Tomorrow is my last Saturday, so I am pretty excited about that. That said, I don't know if I will have to take off and leave with Tonna, but I will if I have to.

Charmed is probably mad at me, I promised her yesterday I would be on for her.

I am sorry! I will be here this morning, but I have to go to Chilli to collect money this afternoon.

Oh, and the guineas! The last time I looked, they were not laying yet. I only have 2 females, but I would collect some to send to you when they do lay. We can't free range ours, when we did, the neighbor's dog had a hey day with them. The live in a hut and have 2 different pens to alternate and give them plenty of grass to eat. Now, Tonna and most people I know that have them have a place for them to roost at night and just let them roam during the day. Once they are used to it, they will come back in at night without herding them in. Just keep them locked where you want them to be at night for about a month or longer and they should come back after that. They are flyers! They will roost in the trees, on houses, etc. They are also screamers! When someone pulls up, they sound the alarm. I have never known any of them to be lovable. They are there to keep bugs out of the yard and they do a wonderful job of that. I don't remember what else was asked.
