No! Darn it! Thats not fair. A & E used to have those kinds of shows on too. Now that I have Dish again I see that channel has changed. I was bummed because that is what I was looking forward to. I loved the show Snapped!

Ha ha ha! You two are really funny! When we moved out there, the neighbor told us that we had a confederate soldier buried in the back. I did some research and found out the guy's name. While I was on ancestry.com, I looked up his line and found a g,g,g,grandaughter doing some research. I emailed her and through a couple of convo's she told me not only was George Bailey buried back there but so was his son, James. There was alot of research done years ago and one of his daughters was interviewed. They were shot in front of their home with the family there! Not the home we live in now but one back in the 1800's. You know...this wild, wild west stuff is one thing, but the stuff you two read is really gruesome! I know I won't be shot for being a union sympathiser but all that butcher knife, head chopping, let's have kidneys for dinner stuff you guys read scares the #$*#% out of me!

Did ya get the mowing done? It is beautiful again today! I need to go home and check on Miss Bailey. She was acting strange yesterday and I am afraid she isn't going to make it. I don't know what to do for her and I am told there probably isn't anything. It has really bummed me out!

I still haven't had a chance to start that book I ordered about Skidmore MO. I just feel like things have been crazy around here lately.

I forgot to tell you girls I have a sick barn kitty in the "infirmary" aka Raymonds bathroom

He told me the other day he thinks I am nuts about my animals and when he grows up he will have 1 dog and that is it! Well I grew up unable to have pets and swore when I grew up I would have what ever I wanted, so it is a vicious cycle!! Anyway this cat is one we gave to some friends as a cute little kitten. A year later they decided they could not afford to have him fixed or declawed so they brought him back. Well he had to live outside because hubby put a limit on indoor pets (that is until Cash the cat, you all remember that story

). Well a week or so ago I saw Mattie in the kitty barn, his face was all swollen but he would not let me close to him at all. Finally on Friday I found him curled up in the kitty house. His face was not swollen anymore but he is skinny as a rail and was not moving. I brought him in and gave him shots of my homemade pedialyte for animals with a medicine dropper plus egg yolk. I also had some left over cat antibiotic that I have been giving him. He is getting an appetite back and will eat a little canned food. He is bald under his whole chin and has 2 puncture wounds there. They are not icky but all scabbed over, however it is still very warm. I don't know what else I can do but he does seem to be improving. Any ideas? Something I may not have thought of?

Gosh....I don't have any ideas for the kitty. Sounds like something got ahold of him. The antibiotic you're giving it probably helps the most. And keeping him hydrated. I didn't know about Miss Bailey either! What happened? The graves were at the base of a sycamore tree. It was cut down by the original owner. It is in the middle of what was our bean field so I know there are no signs.
