Destiny and I try to watch and read all things Manson. You know that took place right around when I was born! I guess that is why it intrigues me so much.

I haven't had a chance to look it over much yet, but from what he was telling me, it was very interesting! Yes, a book definitely to put on the list and probably look for the movie.

No I haven't. Charmed suggested it. I just started it. I of course have heard about it but didn't know much about the case. I noticed it happened in 1969, I was born in sept of 1970, you were born in 1969 weren't you? August?

August 11th, exactly around the time they took place. Mom said she was too busy to remember hearing about it at the time.

Definitely.

I am becoming a believer. When he first started acting like that I joked about a ghost or monster under the couch. Now that he is persistent about it, I believe he is seeing something. My hubby still says he is just old and crazy, but after several evenings, I have to think he is seeing something. I am almost wondering if it has something to do with Destiny since it is her room and the couch she sits on. She says she doesn't see, feel or sense anything, but she is taking him very seriously!

It is definitely SOMEthing. It is just a matter of what it is. Doesn't have to necessarily be paranormal. But there must be something, be it he is crazy, there is a ghost, or a rat. Always trust the dog. We have had a couple of situations like that around the house. Last time after my crazy stepmother died. Very disconcerting.

The thought of a mouse in the wall has crossed my mind, but you would think we could hear it once in a while too. Him yelping and turning around like someone smacked him on the behind really freaks me out. I have been trying to be patient with him, but he is about to drive us all crazier than what we already are!

I read Helter Skelter a long time ago, I think in high school? I must be older than ya'll.

I have always been interested in paranormal things. You want to be careful and make sure you study to be able to protect yourself if you want to involve yourself with things like that. They aren't just cool and can be a real problem. Manson was an evil man and created great evil. The world will be better off when he dies, if he has not already done so. I don't think I would want to knowingly go to a place where great evil had taken place in the very recent past. it would be a very sad place.

Yes, you would think you should hear a mouse. I'm not really saying it IS a mouse, I'm just saying it is SOMEthing. If it were me, I would first get the dog thoroughly checked by a vet, to make sure he isn't having neurological issues. Once again, I'm NOT saying he is. But I like to go about things like this and eliminate as much as possible the possibles I can eliminate so I can narrow it down more certainly to less likely possibles, like ghosts. Does that make sense? I do indeed know that ghosts exist, so I'm not saying you don't have a ghost. You just want to eliminate the other possibles if possible.

Manson is still alive in prison and sadly still has a long following. I am not saying I think he is great or anything, it just intrigues me how someone can be that evil and reel so many people in on it at the same time. I remember watching a parole hearing of his once where he basically admitted that if he were allowed to be free he would lead his "people" into taking over the world. He is just as warped now or worse than he was when he committed the murders. I also don't fall for his groupies blaming it all on him. I believe they should stayed locked up just as he is.

He was thoroughly checked right around Christmastime with no problems. I suspected arthritis at the time and just wanted him looked over good since there wasn't much history on him. Other than these outbursts, he is fine outside, in my room, etc. I would like to explain it away, I don't really want an uninvited house guest, so I will continue to watch him and take more note of what exactly is going on at the time it happens. Like I said, we dismissed it the first few nights, but he is pretty disruptive while we are trying to watch Food Network!
