So speaking of cool weather foods, I just put apples in the slow cooker for baked apples. They make a nice evening treat for Americas got Talent tonight. Also Raymond loves them for breakfast so I can just pop one in the microwave and wala, breakfast is served.

Oh! I should mention while I'm doing work avoidance...

I went to the Ren Fair yesterday! It was fun, but will be more fun when I go with friends (hint, hint, ROFL). Got some new costume pieces that I just ADORE. Yes, I'm one of those nuts.

I was overdressed for the weather, so when I bought my new costume I wore it for the rest of the day. Then, I came home and tried on all my new costume pieces with all my old ones, ROFL. Did I mention yet that I love the Ren Fest?

I did most of my Ren Fair shopping yesterday. I like to take 3-4 hours to go alone one day to do that, so I don't annoy whoever I'm with by costume shopping. Trying on clothes for 30 minutes at a time is best done when alone, ROFL.

You are welcome to come peel apples for me! I love apple pie & cobbler but HATE peeling apples and despise canned apple pie filling...

I am baking Oatmeal cookies right now. My nephew started college and I promised a care package!

Yeah, I think so .. It was in an apple dumpling recipe .. probably the same thing, but wouldn't hurt to look up an apple dumpling recipe.

Apple dumplings - YUM. Though, the one I had yesterday was BLECH.

Hey, any ideas on what happened to the dog leash around here? I used it two days ago to walk the dog. Then came in...and I "know" the leash came into the house. Now, it's nowhere to be found. ROFL. I mean SERIOUSLY NOWHERE to be found. I have searched high and low. It has vanished into thin air.

Perhaps a UFO stopped by and the little green men stole it for their little green dogs.

My MIL was going to sell her Pampered Chef apple peeler/corer at our garage sale. Brand new in the box. I snatched it right up. I used it on bushels of apples last year. Works wonderful!
