Well...for real! snicker snicker You still haven't told us how Colton almost broke his hand??? Is that kid ever gonna slow down?

He didn't even come close to breaking his hand... He was just being a big baby

He called me after practice and told me if I was in town he wanted me to see his hand before the swelling went down, said it was the size of a baseball. I wasn't in town. I was busy with Tonna. He calls me a few hours later to say the people he was working on their house told him his hand is broken. Tonna, Des and I head to town to check it out and he has a little tiny swelling on the top and that is it. I say "I assume the swelling has gone down?" Nope, that is what it looked like.

He ran his hand into a face mask. We gave him an ice pack and told him to get back to work. I haven't heard anything else out of him.

Quail sound so cool. I always wanted to raise some but have not gotten DH talked into building more cages. If you get too many boys are they the eating kind or have a better idea? I don't even know why I would want to raise them myself cuz I would end up with way too many. When you said you filled the bator up I was thinking 48 cuz that is what mine holds lol.

I can't remember how many times I have heard that same sound and went running to see what kind of predator had gotten into the chicken coop and was killing someone! It is always such a relief and funny when I finally figure out that no one is in danger. It is a sound you never seem to get used to either.

Cat's are wimpy ... and vocal! Don't let THAT scare ya!

I watched my sister give birth to all 4 of her kids and it actually made me feel more comfortable about when it was going to be my time and her experiences ranged from 12 hours hard labor to her last one nearly hitting the floor befor the doctor got ready for her! lol

I am caught up now!

Yesterday and today have been sooo busy.
I went to my doctor visit and got to see the lil baby jumping around in there. Not much bigger than a plum they said but still cute as a button and felt really good to get to see "her" moving and looking healthy.
On my way back to my mothers school (she was still there for the homecoming game and had Isaac on the field with her) my brother calls to say his wife had been in an accident in Memphis while on the job. The company truck had been hit by a semi truck from the back. He needed someone to keep his 4 girls so he could go to the hospital. My sister, with her own 4 kids, picked them up and passed them on to me and my mother decided to keep Isaac so I could fit them all in my truck and take them home till their parents got back. I'm talking ages 9-3 here and they had not been fed yet! I am not used to that many kids! lol Turns out my S-I-L wasn't hurt that bad and got to come home. It was really late by the time I got Isaac back and got home. LOL Isaac was so dirty and tired but seemed like he had a really good time at his first football game! They said he did more playing on the bleachers than watching anything on the field.

I have to tell this funny story about Isaac. When I first got to the game and was waiting for my sister to get there with the girls I was showing the ultrasound pics to my mother and Isaac. Isaac was really looking at the pics. hard and would tell anyone that walked by that he was looking at a 'his" baby and would show them the pic. That went on for awhile then out of the blue, ( keep in mind he is only 3) Isaac reaches up to my pants, pulls, and while poking my stomach, says " I want to get the baby out".

Idk... Mental_Floss did a really good article today about the Star Spangled Banner though. I know that doesn't help you, but you should read it anyway lol

Oh I know.... How about "What I would do with the quail that I secretly want Roz to give me but dont know how to get my husband to say yes............

HA HA want away.

At least I know that if I have too many little snots reproducing themselves, that I can find them a home with one of you two easily. (Did I mention that I keep having to take eggs away from broody button quail STILL? Or, that one hid three from me for too long, so that I don't feel right taking them away?)

It is more like "How am I going to get those quail away from Roz?" Hubby will be a piece of cake.

Hmmm. A hefty enough donation towards paying off my student loan might do it. Or my mortgage. Wait, I would have to do the math to check to see which would benefit me more.
