11:15 PM and my day is finally over! Or, rather, I'm declaring that it is time to rest. I refuse to do any more "work" tonight. There is enough time for that tomorrow. (I will put in 15-16 hours of paid work tomorrow, after all.)

The new babies are doing well. They are addictive little things.

Crossing my fingers that the coturnix eggs will do well. Most of the eggs seem to have a good weight to them. I've never hatched coturnix eggs before. From what I read, they tend to dry up when they don't develop. I'd say I have 2-3 that feel a bit too light. Then there is the one that I damaged (grrr). So, my guess is that I have about 8 good eggs in there still. We'll see!

First official potential hatch day arrives at 9:30 Wednesday. How much you want to bet they ALL hatch on Wednesday when I'm busy instead of Thursday when I could pay more attention to them?

Usually you guys are pages into this by the time I make my way toward my computer.

Still no coturnix babies but it's early yet. The later they hatch today the happier I'll be (better yet tomorrow).

My grandparents are coming to visit tomorrow. They will like seeing babies.

How are things going today Rozzie, or is it too early to tell? We have a sales meeting in a few minutes, so I will have to step away for that for a while. It looks a little rude to be posting while the boss is trying to talk.

I had a Quarterback meeting last night, made supper and watched my show. Then I tried to get to bed early, but that doesn't work out so well. I think I was asleep somewhere around 11 though, so that wasn't too bad. I think tonight is a free night, just getting things ready for the big supper tomorrow night.

We do have a sales person who does run out of the meeting every time her daughter would call from college with a tragedy like missing the bus, failing a test, bad hair day, etc. It drives us crazy!! No worries today though because her daughter showed up during the meeting and Mom couldn't get out fast enough to be with her.

They are currently arguing the last few days about said daughter (22 years old) wanting to be a nanny in England.

ROFL She sounds like quiet the treat, Michelle.

Heck, it sounds like my students. Some of them seem to think classes are like a movie theater: get up and go use the bathroom or buy popcorn (er vending machine food) or answer their phones when the mood strikes. I'm about to circle round and round with one of them. You just wait. I will be the dominant rooster in that pecking order (and if not, further steps will be taken...)

10 more papers in the stack, then time to jump into the shower...

Thanks! That makes 2-1 on the girl feeling. DH is still holding out for another boy.
