Busy day ahead here today .I can't WAIT until 4 tomorrow (a blessed long weekend begins). I have arranged it so I will have only a small amount of grading to do, I hope.
Must get to the Feed store today as we are a little low on food for bunny. They were almost out. I don't want to have to bum some from a friend to get me through Thanksgiving weekend!
Rabbit is adjusting. The coturnix noises still startle him, but he is getting brave enough to hop out of his cage briefly into his temporary exercise yard. I think this weekend I will begin building him a much bigger play yard from whatever lumber we have on hand.
Of course, this time of day those boys are NOISY as heck, so he is really not happy with them, ROFL
Tanya--A little prayer goes up for you every night!! Des has even already picked up Christmas cards for Raymond and Frank, so of course he will be there! Did Raymond get his late birthday card??
Roz--Rabbit is beautiful!! Destiny got a rabbit from a friend many years ago, maybe her 13th birthday? Anyway, she was having a party and this girl called me to see if she could give her one. I wasn't thrilled about the idea, but figured a rabbit wouldn't live that long anyway so I agreed. We had and enjoyed Stanley for many years. He was a big ole boy that she spoiled rotten! That girl was killed in a car wreck 2 months before graduation and Des put a pic of Stanley on her gravesite when she visited it later. I miss that old bunny, I have been thinking about him a lot lately.
I refuse to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving! (like I have had time anyway!) But we did pick up some cheap Christmas aprons and Des looked pretty cute in her candy cane one last night while she was helping me with supper. I have never had an apron.
Or is it like when I sing and the dogs hide and Kenny turns up the TV!!
You must sing like I do!
Thunder literally does bark when I get really wound up! We drove Colton crazy singing while we were making supper last night. We were jamming out to Bon Jovi's "Born to be my Baby" and REO's "Keep on Loving You" oh and Joan Jett "I Hate Myself for Loving You"! Colton was thrilled when supper was finally ready!!
Thank you! for the prayers and Des for the positive thinking! I haven't seen a B day card yet, maybe today.
You are all so kind. That reminds me did Colton get the card I sent right after his accident? Sheesh! I forgot I even sent it
I hope you know we are going to need pics of Des in her apron
Yes, Colton got his card. Thank you!
I almost took a pic of her last night, but didn't. I knew you would ask! How precious was the one of Thunder cuddling with her? He rarely sits on the couch with us, but he jumped right up there between us and settled in right beside her! It was too dark for my phone to take the pic (piece of s!@#) so hubby took it with his phone. He got up there as hubby came in last night. Hubby says "he probably knows I am wanting to shoot him, but if he thinks she is going to protect him...." But, they have both settled down and hopefully this too will blow over!

She actually is a pretty good singer. I would rather her sing then pop her chewing gum.
I love to sing, and trust me I know I cannot carry a tune -- but I just belt it out like I was Olivia Newton John--who as a young girl I always wanted to be either her or bobby sherman (really never got that one).
