What a beautiful weekend here. The highs in the 60's, sun was out all weekend

AND

My two roos are not fighting. I had been keeping Captain in the run with my princess hens, and Rebel was out free ranging with the redneck hens. Well we had so much wind here last week it kept blowing the run door open, i came home one day to find my princess hens out free ranging. Captain would be in the run. Well the next day i came home and Captain and princess hens were out in the pasture free ranging and Rebel and the redneck hens were in the another pasture free ranging. So this weekend I decided to just open up everything and see what went on. They have both got their own flock and are keeping clear of each other. I do notice that Captain still runs when Rebel comes his way, but they are making it work. I am so happy about this.

Well off to see what I have missed the last couple of days.

are the cats in the house? i bet that can sound pretty bad when they get tangled up. We have had two stray cats come up. my two cats have tried to run them off, but the wild cats are enjoying the food that is out for them so they refuse to go away. Everyone is starting to get along, except my Bessy, she still loves to chase the wild cats away.

Morning all! We are preparing for the Snowpacalypse here. It could end up being the worst winter storm here in 50 years.


ChickenChick -- SO = Significant Other in internet parlay. Can be used for husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, etc. I really dislike the abbreviation dh. The d is supposed to mean dear and, well, doesn't always...SO is generic, ROFL.

My kitties get along most of the time. ON occasion we do have a little scuffle. It's always over some spot that they both want to sleep.
