10 below this morning. Brrr! Raymonds car wouldn't start so he took the pickup to the bus stop. Kenny is at work and I have a list a mile long to catch up on, yet here I am

Yea, my DH says to let nature take it course, but I have a real hard time with that. I was like you running around chasing them apart until I got tired and put Captain and his flock in the coop and run. Hated leaving them 24 / 7, but it was the only way I was going to get any rest. If it wasn't for the wind storm they would still be in there.


Tanya -- It is too cold to snow, I have a hard time comprehending that. Hope you are warm and cozy.

I hope we aren't suppose to get anymore snow. This weekend brought on a case of spring fever. I see where the bulbs are starting to peak up through the soil.

Morning Michelle/Rozz -- I sure hope you guys keep that mess up your way. I just checked the weather and it looks like we are only in for rain, colder, but rain.


Michelle, you still living/working in a construction zone?

I spoke too soon. 10 mins after that post they called for an early out for school, so it is either doing more out there or they are just anticipating it.

Robin--We have windows and doors in now and the outside is completely finished, but I still have "construction" stuff in my office and we are still picking out paint to finish up the inside. This will be the test this week. With the wicked weather, we will see exactly how much warmer this will all be. If the old windows were still in, I would be sitting at my desk with a blanket over my lap. I am so glad they got it done just in time!
